| Im a long time listener of the Bubba show. I;m just wondering if anyone feels the way I do. When Bubba first came to sirius the show was off the hook. Paintball, shock the puss & balls etc. Completely sold me on Bubba Raw. Seems to me that since Spice has came back the show has steadily declined. The most recent Bubba raw has including looking at Bubba's shit and other bits that are uninteresting. I have recently canceled Bubba Raw at least for a while.Seriously though the Spice and Akira audio is solid gold? That thing to me was not only annoying, but completely not what I'm used to listening to Bubba's Show. As well as the non-stop Bush bashing and other political topics. I'm not trying to hate just remembering back when the show was better to at least me. I'm sure there are others that share my opinion. Again I'm not hatin', just sayin'. |

could it be an age thing. Bubba crew are getting older, their interests are changing. I'm the same age as Bubba and the show hasn't lost a beat to me. I did resist Spice coming back, and was incredibly critical of the move and his role on the show. But he has blended back in nicely IMO. Once I got over the fact that he is no longer the Spiceboy i remembered.
granted I couldn't give a fuck about his audio screwing Akira, but I have the ability to get laid myself so I find myself less interested in that type of content than ever. but there still is a whole group of 18-52 year olds who enjoy that.
Maybe it's an age thing. They are still feeling their way around. |

Dude, how many stunts can they perform? They have to fill 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. How long before they would run out of crazy shit to do?
They do a good interesting show just when they're sitting around bullshitting (except with that ex-football player dude), if that's not your thing then cool but a lot of us think it's a great show. |

| Don't get me wrong I tune in everyday I just feel its slowing down recently.Like I said I'm not hating on the show, I'd be lost without it. It just could be a lot better than it has been in the last couple of weeks. The irritating part is to hear them keep putting over bits that aren't good at all. |

I am a bubba mark and howard mark but i am tired of haters comeing in saying this sucks. If all you have to say is f this then go away. Bring a reason to the table, or go suck big oils dick. |

Long time listener? I doubt it. If you were, you would realize that the show isn't even close to 100% and hasn't been since their return. Give it time, they're still gun shy after almost being black-balled. And believe me, they will come up with some shit that will blow your minds, they just need to test their boundaries forst. |

I gotta to admit that I change the channel when they start taking Politics just because I don't like what they have to say...its all you gotta do if you don't like some parts of the show go to 100 and listen to the replay or go to one og the other hundred or so options and enjoy...

If you haven't noticed, Bubba likes things done a certain way, and he doesn't want people walking in and out of his studio while he's live on the air. I'm sure it can be pretty distracting. Goofboy! |

| Funny- I've totally noticed the show has changed over the last 6 months but I think the show is better now. He's cut down on relying on the gross out stuff and everyone's true talent has come through as a result. |

Overall show is 7.2 out of 10 right now it was 9 in the beg.. and there has been Solid gold shows here and there.. |

| I think the Bubba and the show has been somewhat. handcuffed. For example, the gas chamber, Tim "the bulldog" said no. The ClearChannel bombs, again Tim put a stop to that. I think he's just laying a little low but not to fear, my fellow listeners, he gets in to a long term deal and it's on. That way if he's fired he has one hell of a severance. Pay no attention to what I've just said, I have not idea what the hell I'm even talking about. I'm just happy to have Sirius. :D |

Yes it does. It's Bubba Show. His parameters. Having his sister on the phone/ in studio works to. They add to it. It's old where all the haters try to compare Howard/ Bubba. It's two entirely differant formats. The KOAM trust Bubba with H101, so should everyone else?

It has nothing to do with who talked to whos parents first. I didn't even bring Howard up orginally if you read the posts..
Point blank Janie Cakes sucks and I would rather have that spot filled with phone calls to Heather or Tara Clem. |

In the spirit of fairness, I would highly recommend you go back though and find a more elegant and gracious way to say that Bubbas MOTHER is not your favorite segment.....here let me help you out.
I'm fond of most of the show, I really enjoy Heather as a guest. I'm not as interested in Janie cakes on the show, actually I could do without her.

I absolutely, totally, incredibly turn the fucking channel!! It's just so awesome to have the knowledge in my brain radiate down to my fingertips and turn off spiceboy/akira boring sexual extravaganza and listen to another channel that I enjoy! Been listening to Bubba for about 6 months now. The show 4-5 months ago was the best out of that time period IMO. Back then they had a nice balance of crazy shit mixed with women mixed with open chat.
I really can't decide if Spiceboy adds or takes away from the show. He seems pretty cool, but he seems to take up a lot of the chat without adding much to the show. Brent would add the intellectual conversations, Bubba would add the crazy shit, Ned would add the funny shit, and Manson would chime in on rare occasions. That was the ideal setup.
Now it seems that Brent adds more angry comments in, along with too much political/conspiracy bullshit. Bubba is pretty much the same, Ned hardly talks anymore along with Manson, and Spiceboy just adds neutral comments in that really does no good for the show.
The Good : More unpredictable than Stern
Good consistent storyline to the show
Funny bits in relation to the annoying sound effect things Howard likes to do
Cool conversations between the men
The Bad : The conspiracy theories and political bullshit . I mean sure we all
have our viewpoints, and I don't even mind hearing their viewpoints ONCE AND A
WHILE. However it seems like I run into it on every show now, whether it be a
crack at Bush or a full discussion on how they hate Bush and the gov. I think the
9/11 conspiracy thing was tasteless and rude. I was surprised Brent was actually
taken in on this bandwagon... as a conspiracy could be made out of ANY historic
event with a creative mind and looking specific evidence a certain way.
The show seems to have gotten tamer . Not sure why but it doesn't feel the
same as it used to.
And before anyone chimes in like the guy above me and says "Just change the station"....I did not make this post because I don't like Bubba's show. I still love it, I would just like to see it the way it was before Spiceboy came on (just using him as a reference point, not saying he sucks) |
