PINOCCHIO DAVE
Can Someone please in the Newsroom give us the Hard Facts of exactly how we are doing compared to the projected numbers? As a person in sales for 15 years I'm constantly being asked. Also I have an idea how to get XM subscribers over to Sirius! :mmm:
tgarland
what is your idea? if you dont mind me asking.?
LIFAN12
They'll need a million subscribers in the last quarter of this year to meed their projection of 6.2 million by 12/31/06.
garypl
howabout a report how many people either signed up to listen to the 2 day free internet deal or how many actual subs were signed up due to this---or ask Mel during the 3rd q conference

Wait till Christmas- I am only 1 person- and every single person that comes over- and sees my Sirius- wants one :p --

They advertised during the Sunday Nite FBall game-- :D I shall never go back

seems like there might be an inventory problem AGAIN this year for the holidays as stores only have a few here and there in stock from each receiver--Last year there wasnt anything left 2 weeks before Xmas
GT666
THey better make sure the stores have enough stock for the xmas season this time around.
garypl
inventory seems to be flying in now--im not too sure of the sales though--i think el stated that they dont need the retail side to be huge this time around in order to reach goals--hope sir and oem does well
Zoda
I purchased a radio for my son this week!
GM is killing us. They are selling more cars than anyone and have the XM contract.
I to say this, but a merger may be the only way for them both to survive. Mel has a huge ego and yet he is willing to consider a merger!
