What's the plan for this week? What are the good topics?
Building the Channels
- Jackie's Joke Hunt starts next week. How do you feel about Jackie's return to the family?
- What are you expecting from the show? From the callers?
- Will this lead to occasional Jackie in the mornings and is that a good thing?
- We've been hearing that 'The Bitter Half' is almost ready for over a month. is that way to much buildup for one 1 hour show?. Even if it's hysterical, will it be abl to live up to the hype?
- How many people are in the cast and how do they all talk during the hour? (Howard & Beth, Fred & Allison, Gary & his wife, Robin & Gilbert as Mr X, John Stamous, anyone else?)
- Miserable Men got a permanent time slot on Mondays and Jackie gets Tuesday. the rest of the week is already filled. How should they fit the other special shows into the schedule? (The Sex Connection, Kill or Be Killed, Inside the Porn Actors Studio, Riley Martin, Basic Training, The Bitter Half, & The Shit Show, Dice Clay, Meet the -- censored --s, etc)

• Sirius hates the Mac people. When I did my review for for s50 (http://www.bigpicturebigsound.com/s...ite-radio.shtml), I asked the marketing people about Mac support. The simple response was "there isn't any."
There is also some inconsistency about browsers - at the 90-minute mark, like clockwork, I get a window saying "Are you still listening?" I've had other SFN people tell me they've NEVER seen that window, and leave their stream running for days, unless they shut down.
• Why is Andy Dick getting preferential treatment for his show? Why is Miserable Men the re-headed stepchild of the channels?
• Did Howard do the Carolla show simply to bust him on the baby gifts, or just to be a nice guy? |

Ok, first off, Maloof needs to be on the show. Always seems to go the extra mile for SFRT every week.
Jackie HAS to be a topic this week. He was a big part of the show and now he's going to be on Sirius, what do the fans think about it?

Also, what happened to Misserable Men and does Tim Sabien have more say over the channels content than Howard, as I thought Howard was not enough of a fan of Andy Dick to give him a show. Another thing, is are we getting so many new shows that nothing will get a chance to take hold? Finally, should there be a new show/concept showcase on Saturday or Sunday, as weekends are rarely getting new conent? |

I've been on the show a few times and its a great event that every Stern fan should experience. Thank you for the kind words, but I think some other new Superfans should get a chance. I'll be back soon though :hw:

- Jackie the Jokeman to debut on Howard 101 - For one month in October Jackie Martling will return to the Stern world and broadcast his own show on Howard's channel. Will the fans appreciate him or will they bombard him with questions about returning the show and not concentrate on what his show is all about?
- THE RETURN OF THE ROBO-SPANKER - That machine has been in the closet since we moved over to sirius, and finally Howard debuted it today
- British Chicks ride the sybian - Hotter than Akira and the other blonde riding it together? Has the sybian jumped the shark?
- Sirius Stiletto makes its debut today as well - Will you buy one?
- The Gary Roast is right around the corner, in October

Finally....calling into the show....I have called since the night of the movie festival with a few song parodies...today I tried to get a song thru I wrote for Artie....Don't do Heroin...sung to Billy Joels..(I love you just the way you are) being put on hold for three hours...I wanted to discuss Female writers on the show...why there never were ......and recommending books..Howard and Artie both discussed Kite Runner which I ordered and read..terrific book..and Running with Scissors...He should start a weekly BOOK CLUB LIKE OPRAH ...HOWARD BOOK CLUB.....I wanted to recommend The Glass Castle..by Shithole Wells...it is Running with Scissors only about her Family....and how she was raised in chaos...alcholic Father ...artist Mother....a nomad lifestyle that was just unbelievable....Are the callers on the show pre-interviewed and set up for the calls on a triage ....not just random calls....disussion on that please....
Love the show Mutt....what about asking Tim for an EXTENDED SHOW to a 2hour show possibley 3 hour show...just when it gets interesting ...its OVER!!!!!!!!! thanks |

Also how so many people seen as "has beens" try to do radio, such as Whoopi Goldberg.
How about talking about how Beetlejuice hasn't really had a classic appearance on satellite yet. Fucking a hooker, etc., was all done on terrestrial. They need to bring Beetle together with some celebs again. Those were great appearances. |

- Jackie's Joke Hunt starts next week. How do you feel about Jackie's return to the family?
- What are you expecting from the show? From the callers?
- Will this lead to occasional Jackie in the mornings and is that a good thing?
- We've been hearing that 'The Bitter Half' is almost ready for over a month. is that way to much buildup for one 1 hour show?. Even if it's hysterical, will it be abl to live up to the hype?
- Miserable Men got a permanent time slot on Mondays and Jackie gets Tuesday. the rest of the week is already filled. How should they fit the other special shows into the schedule? (The Sex Connection, Kill or Be Killed, Inside the Porn Actors Studio, Riley Martin, Basic Training, The Bitter Half, & The Shit Show, Dice Clay, Meet the -- censored --s, etc)

I would love to see Artie's apartment and his broken computer.
Also High Pitch Mike's apartment just to see him cringe they show the big screen and he remembers what he had to do to get it! |

- The George Takei Effect - Does the show really need him? The staff seemed a bit less edgy without George in the room. Should he make appearances more often, possibly a permanent fixture on the show?
- Sal and Richard's Bits - Love 'em? Hate 'em? Their latest material is instant classic stuff, IMO.
- Sirius Stiletto - Worth the money? Will you buy one?
- People are calling in asking to sit in the news with Howard and staff - What would you do to sit in the studio for the news? Would you talk and add to the conversations during the news segments or would you just sit there in awe and stare at everyone? Its just the news....... :dontknow:

| love the idea of a cribs type show featuring different staff's apartments/houses. also, would love a tour of the studio. I think the only one we have seen is the "under construction" tour, on the website, before the satellite show even began. |

I Live in NJ ..have not driven to NYC since 1993! I would love to be on SFN...age factor...I'm not as "hot" as I was in my 20's and 30's...although when I was young and bartending(inAC) I KNOW I was Artie's type (my Avatar photo). Hows this for a show "idea" ?
Have a show , 30 minutes or so , with Sal and Richard .
Have it be a Game Show where Stern Fans come in to be contestants and have to answer trivia questions about the Stern Universe . If you get a answer incorrect , you spin a wheel of doom that is much like the wheel of sex .
They could change the wheel every week and or mod it to add new gags / grosses .
Im sure Sal and Richard could come up with nasty stuff , T-bagging your forehead , etc.
If you refuse to allow them to do what you "spin" on the wheel , your eliminated and another contestant steps up . First contestant to get 10 trivia questions correct OR a combo of spins and questions gets you to 10 , you win .
To me , that would be some funny radio :) |

| This is the second time a name has been typed over on a post ...s....e Wells..I would never call a person a shithole...who censors our words? Another post of mine referring to that traitor douche bag who was a regular on the show..(I typed his name and it was changed) to toilet something...why was this Authors name retyped by a Mod??? Answer please ...I won't post on SFN anymore...... |

It's in the site code. CH's name comes up as HT. Certain other web sites come up as linksdisabled. There are a couple of others as well. Most of it is spam prevention. Don't take it personal and don't get worked up about it. |

| I think that Jackie coming back is huge news. And now he'll be back in two incarnations too; with the Joke Hunt show and the Roast of Baba Booey. There's literally an entire generation of Sirius Stern fans who have never heard the the brilliance that is Jackie Martling. I also find it very interesting that there was no Jackie, no Jackie, and now, boom, we have him in two different capacities on the channels. F Jackie. |

| In reference to Takei's revelations. How is it that howard didn't remember the camp counselor thing. I think that was mentioned on the first day (1/9/06). I know Howard is a busy man and has more on his plate than I could possibly imagine but whats with the recent memory loss? It seems to be happening more and more. |

It seems like Artie has a little trouble with Howard breaking his balls since his admission last week.
He gets a little defensive and His voice changes instantly . Artie likes to make fun of himself and it sounds like he is a little uncomfortable at the moment .
Do you think the announcement of Jackie's return has added to this ?
Do you think that he feels they are protecting themselves against a personal meltdown ?
This weekend is the National release of Beer League . What happens if it BOMBS ?
If it Does will Artie go into depression ?

what kind of problems? stream issues? use MSIE. MAC & firefox have had issues. I log in with MSIE to the sirius website & have no problems |

At the end of last week, I can't log into anything. Media player, Sirius Online, Widget I've called Sirius to make sure I'm using the correct info. and I am. Plus I've gotten two differant answers from Customer Services one saying it's will be a couple of days and a person who said it could be a couple of weeks before all problems are fixed. Not sure whats going on. I've tried IE, Firefox, disable the firewall not sure I can do much more from my end. |
