| I noticed in a couple of the older shows that Jackie has rubber glove coverings on his fingers only and he's writing or something?? What the hell was he doing that he needed finger condoms? |

| All of Jackie's fingernails and toenails got infected with a fungus, and they all eventually had to be pulled. This was probably either when he had ointment on them or after the pulling. |

I remember him claiming that, but there was more than one explanation given and it seems awfully coincidental with what ended up happening to his fingernails. I don't think he told them about the fungus until it got to the point he was having them pulled, so I suspected the "allergy" might have been a cover. |

Noooooooooooooooooooooo!
It's was ONLY his toenail and not fingernails. This happened towards the end of the Channel 9 show - which would have been around 1991-1992
He wore those finger rubber cots on his fingers because he'd complain about getting paper cuts when passing notes to Howard |
