Why should we have to pay additional internet charges as a subscriber??????????Seems to me it's just a quick way to increase the numbers quickly. It just is not fair to loyalty to the Station. You can't be SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :argue: :sm:

Beetisbadascan
WTF are you talking about? It's included in my subscription for free.
Rosewoody
Apparently now if you want the "premium" online service you have to pay. But the "standard" service is still free w/ each radio you own.

I just saw my CC bill and it had a 1.00 charge. I just ignored it...I now that my year sub. is about time to pay.
Bart H
He might be talking about the new portable radio. I think to get it to be portable, you have to pay more or something like that.
googleWes
yea, you can pay for extra net listening licenses, but I think you get it for free by default. I think part of it is so people can subscribe without having a radio, which just means more users for sirius...

We don't have to. Not unless you're looking for a quick way to get clearer audio quickly and at a more rapid pace faster than before when it wasn't so speedy to swiftly get clearer audio.

already sounds fine to me.

Nope, that's not correct. He's referring to the $2.99/month to upgrade the regular(FREE) internet stream to 128kbps CD quality. It has nothing to do with the new portable. The new portable works out-of-the-box with any subscription.

The Sirius rep is misinformed! There is NO FEE for any internet streaming. It's FREE to all Sirius satellite radio subscribers. The $2.99/month is to upgrade the internet stream from 32kbps to 128kbps, which some people wanted so they can have CD-quality music streaming.

Right you are. Now am able to get streaming.. The site changed a bit since I last used it. I guess.

My streaming hasn't worked at my job for a 10 days ...I'm real pissed... oddly enough it does work at home, with out an additional $2.99 fee. I can t figure out the issue and have'nt been able to spend forever on the phone for what seems to be shitty customer service. Now he's hit the 5 million subscriber mark maybe they should spend a little on customer service. Or at least make an announcement on -air why we can t get streaming.

I doubt that's it. This hit everyone last Monday, when they updated the channels they were streaming.

I had the same problem - here's something to try that I posted in another thread with the guidance of another SFN'er...Download Windows Media Player 10

Here's the link. Scroll down to Windows Medial Player 10 - not sure if Player 11 is any different....

I have no beef with the $2.99 upgrade for the premium streaming. I do however think that it is totally fucking weak-dick that they still hit you up with the "Are you still listening?" horseshit when you are paying for the premium service.

Lame for free...yes.

Totally fucking uncalled for as a pay service...sho nuff.
jasondylan
I got a lifetime sub.. I wonder if they try to hit me up again.
saturninus
I agree.
