Ok, I want to purchase a new car deck/radio. Are there any decks out there that come with SIRIUS built-in? Basically, I just want to have the car deck run SIRIUS...

Are there any out there? I just don't want to have to purchase a sportster or another type of receiver if possible.

Any pointers will be extremely welcomed.

I put the

JVC In-Dash CD Player (KDG720) in my Jeep. plus the USB reader makes this a sweet head unit.

i'm not sure if i can find this somewhere else around here, but does anyone have any input as to whether it's better to get a satellite-ready unit, or a plug-and-play dealie-jaun?

aside from the obvious plus of being able to use the unit elsewhere if it's plug-and-play...

i'm really asking if there is a difference reception/ feature-wise for the most part.

anyone? anyone?

thanks in advance i suppose...

There is no advantage in terms of reception. The advantage is like you said, the plug-and-play unit can be moved between the car, office, and home.

Tankdog is right. I have that same deck. It runs about 200 bucks and the sirius attachemt runs about 100 bucks. Install it yourself though, don't let those bastards at Best Buy rip you off.
