Unfortunatly I've been sitting home unemployed, I see 3 or 4 XM commercials on TV and never see one Sirius commercial. What happened to the spots they were running a couple months ago? "It's like Sirius knows what I'm thinking...."

They need to get a move on this, especially with the holidays fast approaching.

I agree. I see XM ads everywhere. When you ask people about satellite radio they assume you're talking about XM. Sirius doesn't seem to appreciate certain opportunities such as having enough radios last Christmas, or pumping up product awareness.

On the other hand their subscriptions a going well, so maybe they know what they are doing.

They're the business execs and I'm just a knob posting on SFN...

Sirius doesn't need to waste money on ads. Subs are coming in fast and furious.

XM is DESPERATE so that's why you see ads.

I think they need cost containment more than advertising at this point. The only problem 'on the street' is they continue to bleed money. Subs are great. Content is great. Once they get their costs under control and start to operate in the black, beating XM, everything will begin to roll....
