How many SFN members actually own Sirius stock? I'm way down on mine but I'm not giving up hope. I'll stay long and add when I can. How are you doing with it and what do think about the future of it?
Toronto Tom
no

I own some, I'm going to hold it for about 20 years, it might be worth something by then. SIRI is a longterm stock, very longterm.

Yea, definetly a long term investment. Give it about 10 years or so and it'll be worth what you bought it for.

Damn I wish I could say the same! My broker and friends kept telling me not to buy until I just couldn't take it anymore and told them all to to fuck off. Then it fell apart about a two weeks later! If I had of bought when I wanted and sold when I wanted it would have worked out great. Oh well.

brokers know nothing at all about stocks. if they did, they wouldnt be working 9-5 as brokers. they would be home in thier underwear trading for themself and making a ton more.

i successfully traded stocks for a living fo r a few years.......this isnt any type of trade, it an emotional investment. might, might not.............simple, if you need the dough, stay away..............

I believe even Howard would agree when this is NOT the place to talk about shit like that....That is gloating to say the least and then it is no ones business

I just bought over a $1000 worth this week & i plan on buying more...

This is no doubt a LONG term hold! In about 3 to 5 years when Sirius is built into car radios as common as a fucking CD player, automatic windows, do...or clicker thingies, etc theats when the price will rise at a more rapid rate....until then it should float right around where it is now...so buy up if u can!

Sirius still has tons of debt, Stern, NFL, basic set up for all those fucking satelittes floating around, etc....but its only a matter of time!

Sal was a stock broker, statistically speaking. Enough said.
tincup23
I bought after Howard said he was coming over. Long term
Moist Towelette
I wonder what the ratio is of people who bought thinking it was a great investment long term VS those who bought thinking it was good for the show or just to say they have some?
iam72hrstv
I bought some Sirius for my retirement plan. I was given 1 share as a gift from oneshare.com and I have the Stock Certificate on the wall. The gold caption says Freeing Howard Stern One Share at a time. I got a stock statement recently with an invite the Sirius headquarters for the annual shareholders meeting. I am going to the next one to meet Mel.

You are all retarded, Sirius is NOT a long term stock, the company may not be here long term. Sirius is as close to shit as it gets. The company is not profitable, may never be profitable, and is in a unproven industry in its infancy. Its fight with XM is killing it as well as XM.

SatRad technology is crappy at best, it sucks during spring/summer seasons as there are leaves on the trees. It depends largely on FM transmitters. - Using FM transmitters is horrible and ends up giving you sub par sound at very best.

I own 1000 shares and regret EVER buying it, anyone that says a super volatile stock in a company that CANT make money and wont for many years to come, with a huge float (1.5 BILLION shares or so) , a HUGE short side sell and in a unproven industry "long term" is a complete and total retard, nothing else.
salas75
I have 925 shares. It's been tough, but the news I 've been reading predict a good future for the stock so, keep the faith.
There's a website that post a news and articles and have a section for the stock. check it out.

lumpy330
It is a long term investment if they merge with xm that will be great
LongShoreman
Why is everyone saying that a company that is near bankruptcy is "long term"? I own this piece of crap stock as well, why cant anyone admit its a complete pig and dead money?

Sirius and XM are going to HAVE to merge, they cant make it alone much longer.

Has anyone looked that SatRad companies balance sheets?
tgarland
I bought the stock for 2.89 and i have a few shares...this is definitely a long term stock to hold. not a quick money and flip type stock.
tgarland
Just hold on to it and put it away for a long time...just think this is the same as the jump from AM to FM many years ago.....just be patient.
The1842Regiment
Got some and will hold for a longer term... Love the service, so I agree that it is more emotional. Look forward to it going up!
