PRIVATE PARTS 10YR ANNIVERSARY
- The 10 year anniversary of Private Parts is approaching
and Howard has reservations about putting out a Special Edition DVD. Do the fans want one?
- What special features should be included? Commentary trac?, deleted scenes? Making of? Howard TV preview? Sirius discount?
- Would you pick up the DVD or would you feel Howard & the movie company are just fleecing the fans? What if Butt Bongo was included as Bonus Material?
- He devoted the making of the movie to his wife Alison, but now that they are divorced, would it be to weird for Howard to revisit that part of his life?
KING’S CRIBS
- King Of All Blacks called in a couple weeks ago asking all sorts of questions about Howard’s apartment. Howard may have been bored with it but did the listeners enjoy it?
- Howard TV is working on some cribs episodes. Are they dropping the ball by not having King as the host?
- We've seen the Stern Show Cribs with High Pitch Erik, Beetlejuice, Melrose Larry Green and now they are working on episodes with Siobhan & Riley Martin. Out of all the wackpackers, staff, & show regulars, who should they do next?

There would need to be a massive email/phone campaign to change that. If all listeners emailed Howard and asked him to make it longer, I'm sure he would. |

You know what? I just can't get enough Riley. When his show was on I couldn't drive down the highway with it on. I was laughing so hard I had to hit a turnout to keep from driving off the road. I've been in a bad mood ever since he left. Damn, hope he works it out.
I even called twice but couldn't get on. |

I know I'm not a programing guru, but they seem to play sfrt replay every weekend (1 hour), kill that, and dump one other special replay and there's a two hour block.

- 10 Year Anniversary of Private Parts - No need to come out with a special edition. He devoted the making of that movie to his wife Alison, but now that they are divorced, there's no need to revisit that part of his life again.
- Howard to give out free internet radio for 2 days next week - That alone should bring on subscribers and give Sirius the edge over XM in heading into the holiday season
- Artie to kiss Blue Iris on Wednesday of this week - Should be absolutely hysterical!!!
- Artie is becoming more and more of a slob - He can't even wake up and put on clothes to come to work; he is found sleeping in the green rooms and barely even shaves. Is Artie dying?
- Master Tape Theater - Is the Friday show officially over?
- Sal pooping in the Stern Show bathroom - Howard upset and wants to limit the bathroom to members of the show.
- Robin the biggest Narcissist on the show
- Riley Martin returns!

Here's a no frills option to expanding the SFRT:
Would "they" consider letting you record an "extra" segment on weeks when there's a Friday show (after you finish recording the live show on Thursday nights) - specifically to be aired on the Friday show - with the panel discussing a topic of Gary/Jon Hein's choosing?
It would give the Friday show 5-10 minutes of original content, get the SFRT extra exposure, and (hopefully) satisfy some of the people who can't get enough fan input. |

The Private Parts thing is a money+control issue.
Paramount won't relinquish control and Stern won't be involved in the project without it.
They released the original DVD without his involvement and he's been pissed for 10 years.
Yeah, they could do a two-disc set with deleted scenes, updates on the principle characters, and commentary tracks from Ivan, Stern, Robin, Len Blum, Paul Giamati, etc.
But Stern and crew would want (a) cash and (b) control.
Even if they got (a), I don't think Paramount would give them (b), simply because they don't want to release anything that comes with too much controversy and guaranteed this box set would get people talking. |

Sometimes the "guys" forget they're in an office complex.
If you've seen where the studio is in relation to Sirius, you would immediately understand - they are right in the heart of the floor design.
So any stunts are right in the open - anyone walking around or to the bathrooms sees them right away.
Not necessarily a good thing, and why they keep doing those prank HR calls - because I'm sure they've received some real ones as well. |
