I think the free howard promo stream is going to be a big waste since there seems to be little advertising about it. I don't see any mention of it on Sirius.com or howardstern.com, let alone anywhere else. WTF?

| yup they wont put the money into advertising. they expect word of mouth. with that understood, why should howard, bubba, and ferrall, all have infomercials on their shows. i dont know about you but i already have sirius |

Sirius seems to be counting on the power of Howard Stern to get the media coverage.
Already Google News has over 65 articles (not necessarily 65 different newspapers/tv stations/entertainment sites because a single site might have multiple postings)

The event is designed to create its own publicity more than anything, but they’ll probably run newspaper ads closer to it too.
On top of those online news hits, it’s getting mentioned on entertainment news shows and local news, and getting discussed on message boards and blogs. |

I see they now have it up on howard's site, so that's good.
I was just worried since most of my daily media exposure is sirius I wasn't sure if the rest of the world was getting the message. |

I did the same thing. I broadcasted an email to everyone I knew, about 200 people, letting them know and they were excited to sign up. Those of us who enjoy Howard, need to get the message out. |
