Crazytree
Sorry must have missed this one.

Okay- lets get to know CrazyTree!

I really want to know what makes you tick

Your Age? 26

You are a male- correct? Si

You live in SoCal? Los Angeles

Highest Level of Education? JD, currently applying for MBA

Occupation or Industry? real estate development + attorney apprentice

Party / Political Affiliation? Democrat, ultra-liberal on social issues, fiscally conservative. in college I flirted with some of the more "radical" liberal ideologies. ;)

How long have you been with this Party / Political Affiliation? 18th bday

Have you ever voted Republican and if so- why? no. might have considered McCain in years past... but a republican is a republican no matter how you dress him up

Have you ever voted Democrat and if so- why? every election. (1) they are the major party whose values most closely match my own; and (2) they are large enough as a party to effectively implement social policy.

Did you vote for either of the Bush's? no but my parents voted for Reagan twice and for Bush 1.

What is your religion? barely Catholic.

If you had executive authority- what would be your three supreme decisions as president? 1. undo Bush's assaults on the Constitution, 2. commit to meaningful peace in the Middle East no matter the cost, 3. reduce the influence of the major lobbies such as big oil and AIPAC.

How would you solve the Israel/ Palestine conflict? right of return for Palestinian refugees, full independence for Palestine [de-militarized], full recognition of Israel by its Arab neighbors and recognition of Israel's right to exist, turning Jerusalem into an "open/international" city and allow Muslim participation in the administration of the city

How would you resolve the Iraqi war? eat shit and ask Iran and Syria for help. eat shit and go back to the UN and ask for their help. engage the insurgent groups in meaningful dialogue, legitimize them and bring them into the political process, allow former Ba'athists back into government, give the Sunnis more influence in the administration of Iraq.

Do you think Al Queda is our enemy? they need to be hunted down and killed like animals. however, our invasion of Iraq has been a dream come true for them from a public relations and political standpoint. American policies in the Middle East are making Al Qaeda stronger, helping them recruit, increasing hatred for America and making us more vulnerable to a second 9/11.

What do you think about the war on terror in general? bullshit premise, just like the war on drugs. being used as a blanket pretext to do all the evil shit in the world that has been on the Neocon christmas list. the 1984 references... neverending war... are so clear that it is almost a joke. besides, the US has, does and will support terrorists, so long as the objectives of the terrorists furthers some US goal.

What are the five most important issues facing America today? 1. the hijacking of our gov't by the radical right; 2. the alienation of the entire world by Bush's policies; 3. the rollback of civil liberties and human rights of Americans by our gov't; 4. the information war being waged by the radical right; 5. bringing back fiscal responsibility to Washington.

This seems like a man-crush on DREAD's part, sorry DREAD but I did a similiar thing with NCMike and was occused of such ;)

Great questions and responses from CT, I find myself in agreement with nearly everything he has said. Open-minded veterans tend to think alike, would you agree CT? Its a matter of reality that many in this country seem to lack or simply shun aside to have better feelings for their shallow selves. I will probably never feel any better about whats gone in this country since Jan 2001, at this point I don't know how I could feel any worse... I guess I'll leave it up to BushCo to decide that for me

Sydney for a couple of days then I'm renting a car and driving from Bali across Java to Jakarta... stopping in Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Borobudur and Bandung along the way.

I have a weird compulsion to that part of the world... the mix of Hinduism and Buddhism has produced some truly LSD-like temples and artwork. saved up a few bucks and I want to hopefully bring back some antiques... a keris [a ceremonial blade believed to have spirits living in it] in particular.

Its not nessicarily due to the timeframe, simply the fact that anyone who would label him as something he is obviously not has little to no education of political spectrum and politics in general ;)

Those people tend to follow what they like, not what is best for them
