So in my capacity as Editor at the website I do work for, I get a TON of press releases each day. Because of a lack of staffing, I end up basically putting the entire press release up on the site as news, occasionally deleting some of the more ludicrous hyperbole.
I get SIRIUS releases all the time and I post almost all of them.
Yesterday I got one about everything that was going to be on SIRIUS on the two days the channels will be free to the world and noticed something odd: There wasn't a single mention of Bubba on it.
So I went back in and included my own section about Bubba as well as including a listing of the guests the show would be featuring for those two days.

and here's the specific part that I added:
"Bubba the Love Sponge's mid-day show moves along at breakneck speed on a train filled with strippers, chicken fuckers, wrestlers, UFC fighters and more, so watch out or you'll get run on over. Wednesday's guests will include actress Shawnee Smith from Saw III, football legend Lamar Thomas, as well as a phone interview with 3 Doors Down. On Thursday Bubba's guests will be Kurt Angle and show producer Spiceboy's girlfriend Melody."
I'll continue to post as much about SIRIUS, Howard, Bubba & the channels as I possibly can. I was hesitant about Bubba when he first came on, but it didn't take me long to love the show as much as I love Howard's. Sometimes I even like it more than Howard's, in all honesty.
I gotta admit that, with SFN being blocked at work, I sort of miss posting here during the show. At least I get to listen.

| oh! btw: I e-mailed with someone on the staff and they did say that SIRIUS were sending out a revised press release. I didn't want to forget that part and get the crew in any shit. |

An omission like that is really hard to explain away....
Bubba played their "Because Rush Limbaugh was High" today while Bubba was bashing Rush....that is one of their best parodies and they were on a very funny roll at that point....anyone who heard Bubba's show for the first time would be impressed. |

| Manson cracking up trying to do GW during the Shawnee Smith call had me in stitches. Despite the fact that she was a bit odd, she rolled with things pretty well and stood up to the guys without coming off prudish or bitchy and had a real good sense of humor. Yeah, it was a pretty damn good show today. |

| Sirius doesn't have any pics of Howard or Bubba on their reciever boxes either ( I have the Starmate and the Starmate Replay ). Sirius should have paid more attention to what Mutt said about promotion and cross promotion ( that should be on their hardward also ). |
