OK, NOW I'M PISSED!!!
I do love Sirius and not just for Bubba and Howard, please do not construe this as a closed minded rant. I understand that things are a little different because of the free trial thing but why on earth would you not have your regular shows replay so that all the new online listeners can hear them? Isn't the point of the replays SO that people that don't operate on east coast time get an opportunity to listen to programs (Bubba/Ferrall) that they might otherwise miss due to time differences?
Don't you think that ESPECIALLY because of the online trial that EVERYTHING should be rebroadcast so that more people can be exposed to it? Yes, I signed up for Sirius because of Howard (like many of you, I'm sure). I also consider myself extremely lucky that he had the foresight to hire Bubba, otherwise I would never have been exposed to his show (like many of you, I'm sure), which I am now a huge fan of.
I'm sure that the replays will be back once the free trial is over but I have to criticize whoever made the decision to not play them in their regular spots. I apologize for ranting if the revised schedule was actually posted somewhere and I just didn't see it but as I've said before, the amount of Bubba's show that I get to listen to during its' 3:00-7:00 airing is limited (and unfortunately limited as of late) and I rely upon and thoroughly enjoy the fact that I am able to record the replay and listen to it the following day.
My sympathies to all of you on the west coast that basically just got porked out of your daily dose of BTLS. Do we really need to replay the Labor Day top 10 again, it was on yesterday. I am by no means a radio programmer/executive/manager etc. but, in the words of the great Brent Hatley, THINK!! |

Thank you for posting...I was going to post the same thing.
I can't hear all of Bubba in the afternoon, so I listened at midnight.
Then, they put the 7pm show on at 12midnight and then Bubba at 1am. No I didn't like that, but at least Bubba was on an hour later.
Now, I'm listening to Mastertape Theatre??? What the FUCK?!?!?!?!?!
How is Bubba supposed to get an audience when they are playing 12 year old Howard Stern shows?
I thought 101 was supposed to be for new programs and the other personalities that Howard is "supposedly" bringing up... This is no way to promote your new talent and reach out to old fans of Bubba.
Bubba did have an audience before he came to Sirius. |
