| that was a great writeup by Jaeger this morning. been on the Kenworth end of that scenario a few times. one dude in his fast and furious neon came up behind me when I was loaded with about 90,000 kg's gross ( X 2.2 to get pounds) and must not have realized how slow I was going, he panics and swerves out hard to pass me at the last second and lost it, spun around about 3 times before going into the ditch. I gave him the thumbs up as I rolled past. priceless.... |

Sweet!! yeah this fool used the center retaining wall and the passenger side of his veh as a brake pad/ pyrotechnical show.
He just rolled off the front of that truck like snow off a snow plow. I'm glad the FTE had the good sense not to lock 'em up. and just kept rolling. |

People don't even begin to realize the shit you see on the roads when you spend actual time on them. I drive 3-4 hours a day just in commute. I can't imagine what people who do 10+ a day everyday see............well I can, but I can't imagine the cursing that goes on when this shit happens.
BTW, I have the best story TeeRoy if you are interested. I'd actually be curious to see if you could trump this for stupid. |

I am a little behind in reading, people, forgive me.
I always wondered, how come when I get on the highway, the FTE's never get into the left lane and let me get on the highway?
This shit happened to me this morning and it pissed me off to no end!!!
He flashed his brights and left them on for a min. as I slowed down to flip him the bird thru the back window.
Shit Drives Me CrazY!!!!
I also am not generally an asshole to FTE's as my Bro-In-Law is an OTR driver. I usually am very nice in the way of letting FTE's on the road...and slowing down to let them get in front of me and such. |

the exit can be on the LEFT or the Right - and they never warn you. this is esp true in the "downtown" area where the 10 and the 101 and god knows what other freakin' highway cross over each other. jesus, what a mess.

ya, they are just being ignorant, d-rob. it's a courtesy thing. I always try to get left when I see someone waiting, usually some asshole will just cut inside me cause I made a spot for him to go, so it's 6 of one, and a half dozen of the other. when that car that's waitng sees me go left for him, he assumes it's safe to pull out. he's not counting on the asshole that pulls into the left lane cause I vacated it. rough world on the highway, everybody's gotta be on their toes.. |

Went to the Kenworth factory there, and then went out drinkin' at a sports bar, got into a minor altercation with a few patrons after they started dissin' on me about being a canuck. when it came down to me calling 'em out, they called the cops and I was escorted out of the bar. good times! stayed at a Hilton Select hotel paid for by Kenworth, never seen such a fancy hotel in my life |

When they run Mastertape theater I really wish they would either run 2 a day or just run some other replay after it runs...I don't need to hear it twice on the west coast replay |
