I was just watching the Brook Hogan appearance and I was expecting the performance she did with Paul Wall to be cut out, but it was in there as it was performed on the radio. I wonder if this will continue or it was a one shot deal. It would be great to see some of the K-Rock performances performed in the studio!

I have a feeling it was some one shot deal. :(

But I hope Im wrong and this is will continue with other (good) music performances.

It probably just happened because the Hogans are good guests & give great interviews. They deserved the extra publicity.

It can only happen when the artist holds full rights to the song, which is rare, and agrees to waive the TV licensing fee. Usually the rights to any song on a major label are divided up between a bunch a people/corporations, and the artist doesn’t have the ability to waive anything. It sounds like Hulk fronted the production costs on Brooke’s album, which might be why they retained rights that you usually give up.

I had a feeling thats what is was, thanks for clearing it up. I would also explain why they played that bands (cant remember the name) music during the waxing contest with Richard.

I would absolutely love to see Staind sing the Beetle song. Has that ever been aired on HTV? I just got it this weekend and it's the greatest damn thing EVER

They showed Staind playing it outside on the extended version of Howard’s Last Day. There shouldn’t be anything keeping them from playing the original performance in the studio, since they only need the clearance of the Richard Christie/Lester Green writing team. :)

The reason why it was shown on HTV

1- Her music sucks

2- She's nobody in the music business

3- Hogans probably own the rights and dont need legal approval from the music company

Howard's Balls
i hate that kinda music, but she did alright. that was great when he told paul wall "you know how to speak white, come on..." lol,

They played Yanni's music during his episode also....maybe she owns the rights to the song?
