Tempting as it is, due to my utmost respect for Poland and Boots, I will refrain from photoshopping the proverbial jar of anal lube onto the dresser. Though I'm breaking every photoshopper's law known to man.

Question. Do experienced truckers just go by the rpm and skip the clutch altogether?

It's called "floating".
Saves the clutch, and if done right, you can float the gears both upshifting and downshifting.

Hi, TDR, fellow driver here, O/O. Got calls in to the show myself, but never got on yet. Kinda nice hearing another driver that isn't a total goon on the air.

In heavy rain or snow..4 wheelers will try and shelter behind rigs..it can be very dangerous though..84 especially through NY/PA is a very dangerous stretch of hwy in the winter!

yea, it was 20 yrs ago, things have changed. traffic is wild now, i'm going to boston sunday to the orphum thearter. i've opted to go to wonderland and catch the blue line into town. driving in boston is "take no prisoners" attitude. portland is busy enough for me
