Ever since Spice hosted the show the day Brent and Bubba had to go to the principal's office in NYC it seems like at least one bit a day skips and cuts out.
It does sound like a CD skipping but as Spice explained that day they don't use CD's.
Today Full Trucker Effect was all over the place and the last bumper did the same thing.
Can they not hear it at the studio, or is my Starmate taking a shit?

It's never when they are live it is always a recorded bit.

Sometimes I have issues with my reception ever since I got the S50(been meaning to get it replaced under warrenty) but one day everything is great the next day skipping like crazy.
spyder8
yeah it skips almost every other day for me
cocksmacker
The beginning of the show, FTE and Hendrix were all over the place for me too. It totally cut out. I thought it might be my computer, but I logged back on, and it was still doing it.
rigmover2307
same story here. since the day spice hosted, the recorded stuff skips. they said it was a prob with the sattelite. if thats so, why has the live feed never skipped? sounds like its cheap ass shitty equipment to me. why would they use cds, they just figured out how to use that nifty dual cassette deck. oh well, maybee theyv got someone on the problem and will get er fixed up
Neds Ballsack
It can't be the satelite feed because I listen to Howard's West Coast Feed, then the Warp up Show on 101 and they never have problems.
It's something wrong with Bubba's system, I'm just surprised as often as it happens that no one ever mentions it, they have to hear it.

I brought it up once before and I still think this is the problem..... Being that the feed is sent to NYC through a computer, it sounds like somebody is running a program on the same computer that's hogging up the system resources. I get the exact same result when I try to play a video or and audio clip on my computer while I'm burning DVD's or CD's. I think that there's a program being run that's bogging down the computer's performance while the clips or songs are being played.

That makes alot of sense, I know just what you are talking about.

Bubba you need to get some more stones for your server or shut off all other programs when running a bit.

On the show hosted by Spice, it did it with all of the recorded material.

Lately, I've only noticed it for the intro stuff, not the bits they play, and I don't think I've heard it on the bumpers.

I agree with Nedstesticles that it seems like a computer low on resources wth too many programs running.

I'm sure Bubba is aware of it, and I am shocked and amazed that it doesn't put him in a bad mood, or that he has not demanded that someone figure out what is causing it.

I wonder what Spice did to fuck it up. I knew Spice feeding us a line of shit with the satalite excuse.

I just figured because Spice is only there for an easy ride till something better comes along, and is too lazy to give a shit about the quality of the show, that things would be fixed up when Bubba got back.

Maybe they are hiding it from Bubba, until they can fix what Spice fucked up.

If any of us gets a call in to the show, we should ask about it, and remember to put heat on Spice. We are the 1% who care about the show.

but ive noticed that full trucker effect skips like a mother and some bits but never when there talkin
Bears85
Yeah it skips for me all the time, some time it is really long pauses....I don't notice it with Howards show!!!
CND_TRKR
Seems to always be skipping for me during the intro, but I don't notice it after that.
BlackGoat
I am hearing it too, 2 hours north of Toronto. That computer idea makes a lot of sense. It only happen in the intro songs or bits. It all started when Bubba was away.
