I don't need to sign up. I run a business and pay a shit load of taxes to this country. My tax dollars are being used to fight terrorism. And I am damn proud of that.

Are your children going to enlist to fight this bullshit war in Iraq?
bbernie
That's weird, my tax dollars are being used to fund an illegal unsactioned occupation of a sovereign country. My tax dollars are also (according to every intelligence agency) emboldening terrorists, and giving them American targets in their own backyards. Awesome! :)

Bwaaaaaahahahahahahaha!

Easily the most cowardly statement yet!

You think YOUR fucking tax dollars buys you the lives of a few US soldiers, eh?

You, sir, are one of the biggest douchebags I have ever run across.

Please kill yourself.

OP: NCMike seems reasonably coherent... but man he is one brainwashed motherfucker.

You're damn proud that you pay taxes?
Everybody pays taxes, you fuckface.
You're not special.

[ChrisRock]Whatchoo want, a cookie?!!![ChrisRock]

In fact, you republicans are the ones who are constantly bitching and whining and pissing and moaning about the taxes you pay. So, you grudgingly pay them, and then turn around and proclaim how proud you are to be a part of it all.

What a huge fucking dick you are. Good day.

Gyros and Fast Food in Greece

http://www.greeklandscapes.com/travel/food_gyros.html

Dude, glad you told us that. We're sorry.

We didn't know that you had an important job making Greek fastfood. We thought you had a normal job, not one so important to our national security.

Over 2800 American troops have died, for nothing, but you don't want to join them. You're too busy making shitty sandwiches.

Another Republican hypocrite - GryoHypo(crite) - your new chickenhawk name.
Billyfromsphily
Are the taxes you pay only on reportable income or are they on net income? Do you hide cash from that total?

It's no accident that we've gone 5 years without an attack on US soil. Let the terrorist pour over the Iraqi border to fight our well trained and armed professionals...beats the hell out of them flying planes into 9-5'ers with plane loads of soccer moms, grandparents, kids, and others. As bad as it's been and as long as we've been there, we still haven't lost as many US citizens as we did in a couple hours on 9-11.

Perhaps if we would have fought the terrorists in their homelands instead of Iraq all these years, terrorism would no longer be as great a threat. And as a bonus, some percentage of our fallen would still be alive. But the republican spin machine would have you believe this was not even an option.

WTF are you babbling about? How many years before 9/11 did we go without an attack on US soil? How many people do you think were killed on 9/11?

Bush is the worst president this nation has ever known... and anyone that would vote for him again shouldn't be allowed to vote.

It had been about 8 years since the last attack, oddly enough, by the same group (militant Islam). The attack in 1993 was not as successful, but there were no real consequences for said group, other than legal prosecution and life in prison for some of them. So the five years of not being attacked may not be significant, but it is not insignificant.

In 2001, we lost about 3000 people in a day. Per the Washington Post count (link below), 3142 have been killed thus far in the 5 years since we have retaliated.

no, usually being smart means being informed

acefree, if being smart means agreeing wiht you, then no, you won't find one. Not sure how you gauge a good president...unemployment at under 4.5, stock market at an all-time high, for the first time EVER more minorities owning a home than renting one, taxes at record lows...not sure what you're looking for snapper head.

The last major terrorist attack in this country before 9/11 was in 1995 in Oklahoma City and it was a different group. (right-wing wacko militiamen) The attack in 1993 was not as successful, but there were no real consequences for said group, other than legal prosecution and life in prison for some of them.
Locking them up in prison wasn't as effective as Bush's brilliant tactic of letting them go? Nobody's looking for the blind sheik. We KNOW EXACTLY where he is. Where's OBL?Dead or Alive, my ass.

It's just as significant as the years between 1995 and 2001.

Since then, thousands of Americans have been killed by lightning. When do we start the war on lightning?

The last major terrorist attack in this country before 9/11 was in 1995 in Oklahoma City and it was a different group. (right-wing wacko militiamen) OK, agreed, though there was not necessarily a pattern of terrorism from him, or his group, that I am aware of.

The attack in 1993 was not as successful, but there were no real consequences for said group, other than legal prosecution and life in prison for some of them.
Locking them up in prison wasn't as effective as Bush's brilliant tactic of letting them go? Nobody's looking for the blind sheik. We KNOW EXACTLY where he is. Where's OBL?Dead or Alive, my ass. Dead would be better, since his lawyer (Lynn Stewart) was convicted last year of facilitating communications between him and his group, so we may not be looking for him, but others may still be working for him. I cannot argue against your point of OBL, as I agree.

So the five years of not being attacked may not be significant, but it is not insignificant.

Since then, thousands of Americans have been killed by lightning. When do we start the war on lightning? That is just silly, though give Al Gore another 3 years and he might. :D

So calling acefree a snapper head at the end of his post doesn't qualify as name-calling?
