| Not a Dodger fan but what an asshole this guy is. The shit he pulled in Philly was crazy. They still wanna lynch him. Now he opts out of the final 3 years of his contract to be a FA. He had 33mil guaranteed.. Now the Dodgers need another fielder. I guess its part their fault for signing him to that contract.. Who wants to pay this asshole 11 mil yr.. |

His brother already signed with AZ and played last year in the majors. And I'm not sure why he is a jerk for doing what his contract allows him to do. The dodgers signed it and now they have to live with it. |

The Dodgers do have to live with it. It may be a blessing in disguise because now they have 33 million to spend on the FA market.
What makes JD a jerk is because he has stated numerous times in public that he liked LA and he and his family were happy there and he would not opt out of his contract.
This move was completely about getting an extra buck and signing with a team putting him and his family in a situation that may more MAY NOT make him and his family happier. He was driven purely by greed and not by some sort of unhappy situation he was in.
Good riddance to the fool. I will be surprised if some teams signs this injury prone chump to more than 11 million a year for 3 years. |

| It looks like this piece of shit might be coming to Boston. He's always hurt, bitches 100 times more than Manny, and isn't even in Mannys' league when it comes to ability. The Red Sox said they were concerned about Johnny Damons' health when they let him go to the Yankees, yet they are willing to negotiate with this asshole. Damon missed at most 10 games a year (including days off) with the Sox, but they were too cheap to pay him. Now they are going to pay this guy more than they would have had to pay Damon. With Manny probably leaving, the Sox will suck in 07'. |

Im a sox fan, and I am fucking going bonkers in my cube day after day waiting for the inevitable. The rouge stockings are going to end up paying this douchbag an extra 4 million a year than what they refused to give to Damon.
