| That was a great game. What defense in the 2nd half. Schiano is now gonna be the hottest commodity in NCAA Football. He's now a $2.5 Million a year guy. |

It's not the Big East, it's the Big 3. With Cincinatti and Syracuse next, Rutgers should be 11-0 and top 5-7 in the nation heading into Morgantown, WV. I think the Mountaineers will win that game (if they are healthy), and then the tie-breaker for Big 3 Champion goes to who??? Isn't the Orange Bowl still the affiliated bowl for the Big 3? |

Word. But does he leave, he's got a nice little nest egg now.... recruits are already convinced now!
He ain't going down to that pressure cooker in Miami... anything less than a NC is unacceptable. |

Rutgers will be fine whether he stays or goes (better if he stays). New Jersey and Pennsylvania are fertile recruiting grounds, and they also have made substantial inroads in South Florida as well.
I don't know if he's going to Miami or not. I hear that there will be an opening at Iowa State very soon (probably can't afford him). Also, Bob Stoops and Pete Carroll are being looked at for NFL jobs. Their respective schools can afford him. I wish ASU could, because we may have an opening in less than 4 weeks. |

I dunno, USC maybe. But this is exactly what Frank Beamer did for Virginia Tech, built it up from the ground, his own hands, his own system, his OWN FACILITIES and PLAYERS...
THe South FLA connection is crucial, and if the NJ players stay, it could get interesting round here. |
