the democrats have only 2 years to try to undue the fascism that bushdelayfrist put into effect during the last 6 years, i would love to see bush and cheney behind bars, but i would like to see our rights restored first
i would also like to see the democrats bury bush in an avalanche of bills that help american workers and america's most vunerable and watch him veto them and expose the republican party as the corporate whores that they are.
yes i agree that the 1 party of the incumbency is a cancer in congress, but hopefully the democrats might get ballsy enough to shut down k street, but with dlc and blue dog democrats that might be a reach |

i'm a liberal democrat that believes that people voted against republicans and not for democrats

yeah and what about the amount of time and money spent on 9.11.2001 when put into perspective it is pitiful, they claimed to be fighting terrorism, but they didnt even spend 14million on the 9.11 investigation. but they sure did spend over 40mil on clintons BJ investigation.

impeaching bush would only make cheney the new president. ya thats a great idea :rolleyes:
also we dont have a lot of time. id rather use the time to get our good men and women out of iraq.
to implement all the 911 commission reccommendations.
to raise the min wage.
to reform the tax code so these huge corps dont get all the breaks, and lesson the tax burdon on the middle class.
to create a better healthcare system that costs less.
to find a way to fine the corps that hire illegals. thus almost eliminating a need for a fence, cause if theres no jjobs they wont even try to come.
to have hearings about wtf all the money for iraq went.
to have hearings about wtf is really goinjg on in iraq by calling in field generals to testify.
i coudl type a dozen more things but i dont think u care. u just wana get even. thats real immature and wont help our country in any way |

when I say impeach bush, cheney is included. cheney has been breaking the law, and has even been OFFICIALLY FOUND to be breaking the law by the congressional research services. and even then he has said that he will not stop, and will not show up for any subpoenas. he is so easily impeached it isnt funny. |

u dont have to type in caps to me ok. im not dumb. i know everything u said is true.
however i have more important goals, which i have listed. impeaching them doesnt solve those problems. nor does it help us gain the executive branch long term.
look dude it would be a lot of fun, but it wouldnt be whats best for the country |

If you dont impeach them, then how does that say we will not put up with crime, and unconstitutional acts, and corruption in washington. To ask in another way, How are you telling the people in WDC to stop the corruption, if you dont even charge them with corruption? If you ask me, not charging them means that thier successors get a free corruption ticket. |

its a tactical decision. i feel if we handle these 2 years correctly, then bush and cheney wont HAVE any successors.
we need all the I and some of the R voters. we got them temporarly,. i want them perminately.
in 04 we were looked at as obstructionist so we lost. ppl are finally seeing theres a huge difference between obstruction and proper over sight. i dont want to change thier minds.
i understand your impulse to want to impeach. but i strongly feel it would hurt us in the end.

i feel the successors will be smart and honest democrats, therefore we dont have to worry about future coruption unless we impeach and appear as obstructionists again, then we in 08 they can control evrythng again and continue the coruption. |
