Real quick:
What's the album your friends/family/loved ones/acquaintances would not be surprised that you own and what is the one album they would be very surprised that you own?
I'm exempt because, at something like 5,000 CDs, no one's surprised by anything I have anymore. |

I'm all over the road. I'll listen to everything from Mozart, to John Denver, to Led Zeppelin, to Foo Fighters, all the way to Metal. To list individual bands would take a week.
I guess no one I know would be surprised to see albums by REM, Traffic, Police, and Foo Fighters. Most surprising would be.....hmmm.....Maybe my Motown collection. |

| Like the previous posters, my musical tastes are rather broad. I grew up on country and 50's/60's oldies. I worked the pop stuff in when I went to college in '88. I'm kinda like Bhickman in that I have numerous CDs (too many to count), but I do have a few that are a little hard to find these days. I guess the one that most surprises people that have known me over the years is Pink Floyd: Delicate Sound Of Thunder (live 2-CD set from 1987). I also have a John Wayne CD (he doesn't sing on it, thankfully). Any of the country I have surprises none of my family or friends. Oh yeah, I generally don't listen to any rap (hip/hop), but I have one by Will Smith that surprises pretty much everyone that knows me well. |

Mule fans...Jam On channel is having a contest to see them, just an FYI......
No one would be shocked that I own Pearl Jam ;) , few others Wolfmother & Animal Collective.....
The ones you wouldn't think I would listen too is some Bach, Spearhead, or one of my all time fav's Funkadelic "Free your mind and your ass will follow" |
