Richard and Sal have had less on air antics lately, no gay naked shit last couple weeks. Has the gay shit fallen out of favor with THE CREW? (of course, there's been plenty of phony phone calls)
Unexpected guests: Richard Simmons and Barbara Walters. Now that Howard and Rosie have spoken glowingly of eachother in public can she be the next surprise guest?
Football pool. Is it too much of Alice and Elliott already? Is Howard going to re-think this format next year?

Definitely the reactions to the week of Vegas shows - will they do more theme weeks at the end of the year, when they take their 2-week break?
Also, will there be another Vegas trip?
And how about planning for the first anniversary on Sirius? Should they do a standalone party, or "lump it in" with Howard's 53rd birthday party (later that week)? |

| Why after allmost a year is there only a few live shows? Bubba, ferrall and a few 1 hour shows, yours being the best by far , I understand Howards show repeated but the rest? No live show on weekends either channel. I would think by now there would be live shows 24/7 on 101, Danny, Jim Bruer etc. some on air talent, not wackpackers. There is 48 hours hours a day to fill and but by my count there is only about 15-16 hours. I don't think any radio channel that I know does'nt have a live show 24/7. Maybe I am expecting something that will never happen. Maybe talk about who people would like to have shows on the channels? Thanks Mutt HAPPY THANKSGIVING! |

per LHI, also Martina Navratilova and Howard, Robin and Artie growing their media profiles and securing A-list recognition for themselves. Has the SHow gotten too dirty just as these 3 are getting wider profiles? Richard Simmons left while the SHow was in it's original Golden Age, but can he or Babawabba or other typical celebrities really handle what the Show has become, uncensored at Sirius? will all this newfound legitimacy all go down the tubes when rappin Granny's uterus finally spills out across the Sybian?
How come the tapes arent used to fill a weekend with a theme...conversely, is Vegas all we're going to hear this holiday weekend? it's one thing to save the weekend for repeats of original 6 hour shows from the week before, but it's a whole other to just replay 5 2.5-3.5 hour classic episodes that have been in rotation...in weeks we're the Show isnt live, do they have the flex to play DIFFERENT parts from the tapes on the weekends?
why the resistance to a 3rd channel? does Howard feel ashamed to pressure Sirius to activate ch99 with Classic Stern and some lo-production value filler?
the Show missed commenting on Michael Richards and his bizarre Letterman appearance this week, and something hysterical always seems to happen when they're on vacation...nothing to be done obviously, but it does underline how much i'm accustomed to having Howard's reaction the next day or next Monday... |

The constant running of the Vegas Show has been boring as hell. I actually turned off the Channel for the 1st time . I tuned into WFAN for the evening drive home.
Bubba is still a bit hard to listen to when all he talks about for hours is Spice Boy and Akira. Enough with this shit already.
Why can't we get some type of poll on HowardStern.com to see what the fans may want to hear.
They can post a poll for a week in advance so they can still have time to pull the content and set it up. |

Would they go back to the Hard Rock or does the change of ownership have an effect?
To people want them to go out to Vegas?
Is Vegas too much schtick?
Also, how bout talking about the facts that some "celebrity" always dies when Howard is on vacation. I am sure by the time they come back there will be a big name. I did see that Oscar Winner Robert Altman died, he isnt a big name, but every vacation there is somebody.

Mutt, I would love to take that 2/22 show with Savannah. We were hoping we can have a reunion of the suppose to be 11/23 show on 2/22. It is also Savannah's birthday and can give us a reason to party a little after the show.

Thats what I am thinking. I am sure it takes a ton of leg work though to get all the sponsorship deals in place. I can see that being alot of work. But it is sooooooo worth it. The shows are gold. As much as Howard loves Vegas when he is out there, does he really want to go back? |

The guy works all day in a truck making deliveries to bodegas from warehouses. He doesn't get on SFN much and yes the fucking guy has done stuff I would never do but he is a great guy . I hooked him up with his Sirius for his truck. I love him to death in a non gay way of course. |

Hey Mutt! I'm pumped to be coming back in again this week. SFRT is always at its best on weeks when Howard returns after a vacation.......
- First and Foremost - Artie and Dana are done, officially. He went to AC this past weekend and had sex with some random chick he met over the summer
- Will the Farter proposes to his girlfriend of 3 years on the Stern show - Was this the first time a proposal happened live on the air?

- Sid Rosenberg formerly of WFAN visits - Got fired off of Imus' team and now is working in Miami. He also had a feud with Scott Ferrall over him calling his house and talking to his wife.
- Howard has new audio to play with - Michael Richards apology, Clay Aiken covering Kelly Ripa's mouth
- Howard was also a little psycho during his Ed Bradley funeral rant....

The whole issue with Ferrall & Sid Rosenberg would make for a good conversation.
Is Ferrall taking the phone call the wrong way or was Rosenberg really out of line?
Is it competition/jealousy that's fueling it or does Ferrall just hate Sid Rosenberg?
BTW Mutt, I would love another chance to sit in on the show. My schedule is wide open right now. Just about any date with an opening would work for me. |

I think this is a great Idea. The only problem is there isn't enough time in the show or room in the studio for it. Perhaps it can be set up to happen somewhere else with Mutt checking in from time to time during the show for updates/reviews. Even with that I think it would take up too much time in a show that I already feel is too short. |

Mutt, I don't know if you're allowed to discuss it, although the only time I heard a mention of this was on your show...
Why was Allison edited out of Friday's Mastertape Theatre? Someone on SFN posted the original clip of the segment, was Allison totally made it. Without it, it just seemed to fall short of classic. Allison and Robin going at it was classic.
I don't remember exactly what he said, but when you had that guy Dave who works on the Tapes on your show, Lori threw out the question if we would hear from Allison, and said probably not. I'd love an explanation...and to hear your guys' opinions on it. |

Between you, me, & everyone on the internet, there are legal reasons why certain things can not be played on air. When Howard divorced, part of the deal was not discussing her or it on air. At this point it may just be a matter of respecting the mother of his kids, but the Allison stuff won't be played again.
There are also CBS, KROCK, VIACOM kind of things which will not be replayed.

good point, 1 show is def not enough, The show's end before 10 and just get replayed all day, THey have to do something about this...so we need to discuss this |

Did they completely edit her out on Krock best of's? I don't remember, but then again, the shows weren't on all day...I'd catch a segment on the way to work.
Perhaps this is something that should be discussed then...because that is quite a bit of content that isn't going to be included in the 23,000 hours and obviously a huge deterrent to them ever playing all the shows in order, since several shows revolved around Allison, and, well, CBS or Howard's bosses. Not that anyone really wants to hear the last year and a half replayed while Howard was busy looking forward to Sirius and getting away from censorship.

I have some interesting topics. it is...
1) Scott Ferell. I live in New York and Ive listened to him before he was discovered by Howard, fact is that he sucked then and he sucks now. Obviously Howard is trying to support his own decision but when Sid Rosenberg was on, it was obvious that he was threatened that another "sports guy" was on the radio with howard. His lame fight made no sense whatsoever. Could you please ask the panel if they this that ferell is entertaining enough to have him on 5 days a week? In all Honesty, Rosenberg when he was in NY is alot better (entertaining and knolegable (sp I know)) Ferell talks a good game but from the fact is that Sid lived it.
2) Untouchables. There are certain members of the show who are Untouchable. By untouchable I mean, right or wrong, Howard will always defend them. Robin and Ralph. Plase ask the panel if they think anyone else would be considered Untouchable given the definition I used before.
3) Tapes are back. So does that mean that we will never hear another live show again on Fridays? I understand that Howard is on from 6-11 Mondays thru THursday but I would rather have howard shave an hour off every day and have a fresh new show on Fridays. Its funny, I appreciate Bubba more since he is the only live show on Fridays, and I cant stand Ferell, shake his ass right out of sirius.

FERRALL IS GOD. Bubba and Ferrall both sound WAY into their shows, and it Goddamn shows. Compare to... nah, let's not go there.
The Las Vegas shows: I NEVER WANT TO HEAR ANOTHER DRUNK ASSHOLE VEGAS SHOW AGAIN. How many times were those fucking things replayed, anyway..? I mean, I was longing for the old Jewish guy Gilbert was forcing to re-tell his dumb joke over and over. It was THAT bad. Nothing entertaining whatsoever about the Vegas shows or any drinking shows. Bad idea. Miserable to listen to.
What is up with the creeping-up number of commercials..? And why are they all sleazy fly-by-night sponsors..? How about Nissan, Coca-Cola, DirecTV, sponsors like that..? At least sponsors that are a little bit above board..?
Cast my vote for a live Friday show. Even if it's Bubba or Ferrall or both in the morning. Things are sliding from bad to worse. I don't recall Howard announcing his semi-retirement upon his move to Sirius. Taped shows for 1/5th of the week SUCK SHARK DICK. Are we trying to ascertain the exact point at which the camel's back will break..?
I'm paying for radio and there are more and more ads and no live Friday shows..? And HOW many weeks of vacation..? Plus another three weeks of groggy sounding not-into-it shows once they finally decide to return to the air..?
HS on Sirius is not going in the right direction, and I'm certain that I'm not the only person to realize it. |

Another underlying topic Howard & Gary have a "bonding" call during the break. It seems to be a common thing for the entire staff to not really have a bonding relationship.
