Good move on their part.

Its almost ubelivable, but that dude sucked balls this year, is this the Gramatica that got hurt celebrating?

I'm stoked they got rid of Vanderjackoff, but is Gramatica much better? A kicker's accuracy depends on where their head is in terms of confidence. I hope this works. The Giants game is a must-win.

Parcells jumped the gun if you ask me. He's the most accurate kicker of all-time, and is just in a bit of a slump right now. He's 13 of 18 (3 kicks off the uprights, and 1 was blocked). He could easily be 15 or 16 of 18. He made 74% of his FGs in 2002, and came back and made *100%* the next year.
Case a Beer
They're gonna need a kick here coming down the road, and he probably won't make it.

They should sign Kathy Ireland.

Right now is the worst time to be in a slump, trying to make the playoffs.

Yeah, well Gramatica is 12 for his last 20 since 2004. So, I guess he's in a bigger slump. And, his lifetime percentage is 76.7%, compared to Vanderjagt's 86.5%.

No that was his brother the Gramaticas all live close to here.. There are like 30 of them running around here kicking footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, etc..

But seriously, that was his dumbass brother.. they both do a crazy celebration though when they make a FG.. Martin played for Tampa, the dumbass brother played for the Cardinals

The Cowboys' kicker trouble continues no matter what, it seems. Anyone know if Mel Renfro is still available?

Parcells doesn't like vanderjerk b/c the guy bitches about having to kick-off.
Also they play the Giants this weekend with the swirling winds of Giants stadium that Parcells is always talking about and he can't trust Vanderjerk.
Gramattica was having a very good training camp with the Patriots this summer until he got hurt and released. I'm sure Parcells had a conversation with Bellichek and that aided his decision.

good riddance vanderjackoff

Hmm. Looks like we've traded a pacer for a pinto.

...or a Vega.

releasing vanderjagt was hilarious

Vanderdrunk was costing us games like the kickers we had last season so dropping him makes no difference to his OLD stats of how great a kicker he WAS. After botching that kick in the Steelers game last season, he hasn't been the same. Fuck losing games while he works out his mental problems.
