I prefer amateur sports to pro sports. I'm more inclined to watch College and High School football than any other event, including the NFL (I'm currently assissting a HS football team).
1. Arizona State Football (duh)
2. Other ASU athletics (baseball, basketball, and even womens basketball and softball).
3. High School Football.
4. San Diego Chargers (also root for NFL teams with high numbers of ASU alums playing).
5. Phoenix Suns (been following them since I was a kid in the 1980's).

1. Nebraska Cornhuskers- Football of course, absolute diehard. Plus baseball, men's basketball, women's volleyball - They are number 1 in the country and according to my sister they are all fucking black guys except Sara Pavan the star player. :D Bubba would get excited over that. Even women's basketball since I had a nice chat with the coach one day and I didn't know who the fuck she was- kind of good looking- I'd fuck her and live off her money since she is overpaid.
2. Denver Broncos- pretty fairweather about them, I hope Cutler is good.
3. Kansas City Royals or Anaheim Angels- The Royals suck now but I loved them when they won a World Series when I was a little kid in 1985. I'll be an Alex Gordan mark when he gets called up. I love the Angels during there World Series run with Erstad, now they have too many Latin players for my liking.
4. Gonzaga Basketball
5. Boston Celtics- I suspose I would route for them if they got good again with a great player. Right now I route for Lebron and Dwade. I could route for the Nuggets with Mello too since they are so close geographically too me, but we don't get a lot of press on the NBA and the Nuggets around here since they were so bad for so long. |
