TAMPA, Fla. -- Evel Knievel has sued Kanye West, taking issue with a video in which the rapper takes on the persona of "Evel Kanyevel" and jumps a motorcycle over a canyon.

Knievel, whose real name is Robert Craig Knievel, filed a lawsuit in federal court Monday claiming infringement on his trademark name and likeness. He also claims the "vulgar and offensive" images depicted in the video damage his reputation.

"That video that Kanye West put out is the most worthless piece of crap I've ever seen in my life, and he uses my image to catapult himself on the public," the 68-year-old daredevil said Tuesday.

Here is what I find interesting about the growth of Sirius:

The so called experts and Wall St. research analysts that bash Sirius say that people dont want to pay for radio, they say that 12 bucks a month is too much, and they say that poeple might try it, but they won't stay with it. Well that's not how I see it!

Many people I talk to around the country have gotten Sirius for themselves and have then gotten it for friends and family. Not only are they paying for it, but they think it's so cool they are paying for it for other people!

Listeners are also paying in ADVANCE to lock up multi year pricing, they are buying it and bearing the expense for friends and relatives, and they are NOT switching back to terrestrial radio. Ask yourselve this question...Do I know ANYONE who has had Sirius and then gone back to terrestrial radio? The answer will be NO.

No one goes back once they have heard Howard, Bubba, Ferrall, and all of the sports programming and great music on Sirius.

And that's how the Captain sees it!

What does the Bubba ARMY think?

And of course there was Joe Lieberman, who is now an Independent (despite still backing up the Democrats, and is now teaming up with Hillary.) I have been following his censorship campaign since he claimed the arcade version of Mortal Kombat was actually the Genesis version.
Oh and need I mention Jack (Off) Thompson? I hope to god not!
And of course, MR. Clinton (aka Bill), who signed the Communications Decency Act of 1996 into law, thereby censoring the internet until thankfully the courts ruled it unconstitutional.
In the end, it's the courts that are the last bastion of free speech. They've shot down many a censorship law in the past. Indiana, Louisiana, California, et al, their bills were shot down as unconstitutional.
