| I'm pretty sure he'll mention it on Conan or definitly Kimmel. Because Kimmel is a personal friend of Howard, it might make the interview feel a little more comfortable. |

Yeah I feel like people are trying to stir up shit.
Howard had mentioned Liquid Ass and semi pitched the idea of doing something with it on Letterman. Bubba was curious yesterday as to if/what went down.
Howard went on Letterman and promoted Sirius and His show. Pretty standard stuff really and people acting as if Bubba was slighted ( or will feel slighted)in any way are either delusional or trying to stir drama that isn't there.
Thats just my feelings. |

| i would have to agree. howard was there to promote Sirius and the Howard Stern Show. Not to say he won't give BRN a plug with Jimmy or Conan, but he isn't there to promote Bubba. People dont' really know Bubba outside of the areas he has broadcasted in or that own Sirius. If howard gets people to Sirius, Bubba is one of the reasons they will stay with Sirius. |

| I think it's the fireside chat thing. If Howard promoted the hell out of Bubba, the Sirius corporate Jones would say that hurts the contract McGuillicutty currently going on. Once Bubba has a big new fat contract to be here for another 5 years, I bet he's mentioned in Howard's next big appearance. So no bubbles, no troubles, no controversy, it's just not the right time for Bubba to come up. Everything will work out in the end as all parties involved truely benefit from each other. :D |

| I don't see any reason why Howard would feel the "need" to mention Bubba. Bubba has a different audience, and Bubba does his own promotion. Anyone in this thread that claims to be pissed that they stayed awake and watched the whole interview expecting to hear Bubba's name needs to turn off the TV, masturbate, and go to sleep. Seriously, I love Bubba, but I'm not planning my night around the possible random mention of his name on David Letterman. |

Yeah and what sucks is that chick they had on Howard's show calling in acted like Bubba was all expecting him too..when that wasn't the case..but she kept calling Bubba a whiney bitch and shit...so Howard's crew only get's one side of it and he has to go an a little tangent about it...
I am sure Bubba was not expecting Howard to mention him at all..I just get irritated by the ignorant callers that fill Howard's head with misinformation.... |

| A lot of Dave's show is based on the pre interview, and if Dave wanted to talk about Bubba and the shit the pants contest or whatever I am sure he would have. Dave has a Stilletto now so he can record Bubba, because I believe the Letterman show is being recorded during the Bubba show. If Dave likes Bubba, he can have him on as a second guest when Bubba comes to New York. That would be a better promotion anyways than just Howard mentioning him. Ferrall probably had the better more timely story with Captain Thunder shouting Ferrall at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with child anyway. |

Spiceboy's blog seemed appreciative of the deal. I bet Bubba reads it and agrees. Jeff the Drunk was on the E Channel so everybody knows him. Bubba is the best, but I think due to time constraints Howard just used what was time effecient. Once people make the move to Satellite, they'll figure out Bubba is the real deal. All in due time. Bubba is the King of Satellite.

| I think Howard has too much on his mind with all the promoting he has to do for Sirius right now. So that is probably what happened with him not mentioning Bubba. If he named every show on Sirius other than his he would need Dave's whole show. |

sup bubba fans. ive watched howard do 50 or so appearances. many times(way more then half) he doesnt even promote his own show. the letterman appearance was set thing for sirius tho.
estimate how many people signed up for sirius because of bubba.
my fav band is lynyrd skynyrd. is that wat u dudes are into?
i dont enjoy bubbas show that much, but i do ike that guy brent. he seems highly intelligent. |
