I would like to hear peoples thoughts on the Master Tape Theater format. i dislike the 3 hour replays all day, i think if they are going to do that, they should at least run 2 shows between 6 and 12 and give us 6 hours of old tape. on Fridays i get bored as hell.
either that or take the Master Tape Theater and have Gary and john do commentary and explain the background and some where are they now stuff.
Or even have super fans doing the commentary

I think Howard would appreciate the bullshit the intern show sorta created ironed out,,, they were all pissy because Howard handed out "Stilleto's" to the Letterman audience, when in actual fact Howard CLEARLY said he gave Dave and Paul Stilletos and everyone else got a lesser radio.

For Mastertape Theater:
Instead of running the same three hours over and over, they should pad inbetween the shows with a half hour presentation of some of the best musical performances of guests. It would really break up the programing and you'd hear far more of those moments you've missed in the passed years.
There could also be pre-recorded intros to these by the staff and their impressions of what happened during those interviews and moments. |

I agree this definately needs to be a topic. There are so many people out there who can't get Howard TV. I've heard Howard say there is no technology that would allow it to be broadcast on the net but I don't buy that for a second. |

this is a great idea...the specifics can vary but i think they really gotta find a way to use more of their library at a time. the replays work for new shows bcuz the material is still fresh...alotta this mastertapes stuff just isnt as fresh on the 4th. listen. on. the same...day! |

Robins Music special/ other staff music specials
-a few weeks ago howard suggested that robin do a holiday concert special where she would sing in front of a live audience. although they couldnt get the show together in time for christmas this year robin said she would consider doing it next year.
-would you listen to this special?
-Will Robin actually agree to do the show? during various karaoke contests robin has expressed that she is legitmatley pained because of her horrible singing voice. is this too painful for her or will she suck it up for the show?
-should other members of the staff be given a show similair to this? how about an hour of artie doing covers of classic rock songs backed by a band?

Yo Mutt - here are some topics.
• Did Howard's relationship with Robin change after the mega gift giving?
• Howard got a sweet deal from Sirius. Did Buchwald land Robin a lot more money? I think there's some animosity brewing under, hence the Mercedes after Robin gave Howard the party.
• Artie's heroin revelation: Anyone else would have been sacked or remanded to rehab. How did Artie's revelation reflect on his relationship with Howard.
• Did Howard take a page from Imus' book? Cutting up gifts might be a rip off of Imus ages old routine of sledgehammering staff gifts he doesn't like.
• Has Mutt ever been close to throwing in the towel on SFN? What were the circumstances (Sal and daughter, Mutt being chastised for bringing wife to meeting). |

Old bits that need to return are Win Fred's Money and Stump the Booey.
Small prizes seem to have dried up. They've had a few big ones, (Football pics, funniest porn clip, etc.) but random $500 prizes for games hardly exist. |

More in-depth:
For all the complaining about Tom C, K-Rock did seem to get sponsors to pony up the money for Win Fred's Money, Stump the Booey, and other contests.
We've seen them almost completely dry up.
Now, he won't want to address either possibility, but either Sirius' sales department SUCKS at drumming up sponsors, or sponsors are loath to drop money for 4-6 million listeners nationwide when they once got 20-30 million on terrestrial radio in limited markets. |

Exactly. Listening to the Vegas shows right before Thanksgiving showed that. The had a lot of prizes and dropped some serious money to pull those shows off. Could this be the reason we never have another Vegas show? |

they never said there wouldnt be another vegas show. I deinetly think sirius has the money and the sponsors out there to pull its off i just think they wanted to wait to do vegas during the first year....i think theyll be some great vegas shows in the years to come |
