He is awful on NFL Network. I almost don't want to watch the game because of him. He knows absolutely nothing about football, and he kept calling Frank Gore Al Gore last week. His high pitched voice makes me want to poke my eyeballs out. Chris Collinsworth is also someone I can do without since he is a pompous douche.

Death seems a bit excessive, but I agree, a firing is in order ...
ArtieRules100
nahhh, I'd like him to perish. :sac:

At least you have NFl Network.

Collinsworth is a pompous ass.
ArtieRules100
rich eisen is also a goon.

I'm not sure I want to wish death on Bryant Gumble, but he sure needs to find something else to do with his spare time, becuase he really sucks as an NFL announcer. Collinsworth, although a pompous ass, at least as some insight. Gumble is just plain awful.

Did you hear him say that they got the snap off just befoe the shot clock expired. He is horrible

I think a "Bryant Gumble" drinking game is in order. Every time he screws up, you have to drink. We'll all be shit faced by the beginning of the second quarter.

I suggested this in a thread a couple weeks ago.

I am also the one that called for everyone to email the NFL Network with your disgust for Gumbel. He is the worst play by play person in sports. The high school football play by play guys are better. The worst part of the whole thing is that he never admits to making mistakes. I hear play by play guys correct themselves all the time. Either he is oblivious to his mistakes, or just too full of himself to admit he could screw up. I really don't know which one is worse.

BURN HIM AT THE STAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

youre a fucking idiot, rich eisen is a god. he was sportscenter in my mind, screw dan patrick, and dont even get me started on stuart scott.

if it was up to me, gumble would be out and eisen would be the new play by play.

Gumble is Brutal on NFLN!!!
tommyp
Did anyone hear his most egregious mistake last night? He mentioned this stat after a Viking punt returned by Woodson, with a flag down: Minnesota had six penalties, Green Bay, zero.

The flag was on the Packers for a typical holding/illegal block in the back during a punt return. Bryant updated the stat to Minnesota 7, Green Bay, 0.

What game was he watching?

It is hard for him to see the game, because his head is so far up his ass.

two problems with NFL network- not everybody has it(I do with cox) and the horrible announcers. the later need change to establish themselves as competition against fox and CBS. There are so many announcers out there worth a dam.
seattlefucked
As bad as he is, a death penalty? No , fingers removed ? No. He needs to be fired.

I'm not a homer , well to an extent I am but it really is inexcusable to butcher names.

Babineaux was "Babinich", Plackemeier ; "Plackamacker".

And the Gore thing was over the top.

Isnt it funny how people used to think John Madden sucked, and now compared to the monday night crew and the HORRIBLE nfl network crew, Madden looks like Ben Kenobi and Al Michaels has become the great master Yoda of the broadcasting nfl games???

I've always liked Madden..... sure he gets off topic and sounds like he's permanently drunk... but the mother fucker KNOWS football.... inside and out.

And he's able to tell what's going to happen on the field based on how the offense and defense set up at the line. Most announcers are just play by play... Madden says: "Well, here we have the Defense setting up in a typical blitz pattern....." and sure enough, the defense blitzes or whatever.
