Thank god I have NFL Network.. sorry to the rest of the Greenbay fans in Wisconsin and in other markets that don't have the NFL Network who won't be able to see Bretts last home game. If this is the last two games for Farve thanks for the great games Brett.

As ticked off as local football fans were last fall when ESPN put University of Wisconsin games on start-up channels that are mostly unavailable in Madison, it will pale in comparison to their reaction when they flip on their television sets at 7 p.m. Thursday and can't find the Green Bay Packers' game against Minnesota.

Despite warnings that the NFL Network, which has exclusive rights to the game except for the Green Bay, Milwaukee and Minneapolis markets, will provide poorer coverage than Marquand Manuel for viewers in the Madison area, some fans will be surprised. After all, they've been turning on their TV sets and finding Packers games within easy reach since 1960.

Not this one. It is one of the eight games the NFL fed to its latest get-rich-quick scheme, the NFL Network, this season. Because the network and several major cable providers are still arguing over who gets to pocket our money, however, the game will not be on Charter or Time Warner, the dominant cable providers in this part of the state.

Per NFL rules, the game will be available on over-the-air stations in the Packers' home markets - Green Bay and Milwaukee - and the rest of Wisconsin will be left out in the cold. Unless you get your programming via satellite, a mere fraction of TV homes, you're going to want to complain very loudly to someone right about 7:05.

If you have internet access, u can watch the game:-)

Your local TV stations must be cheap because they broadcast Seattle's last Thursday night NFL Network game here on a local Seattle station. They did the same thing for the 2 Monday games as well.

The local Seattle station will be able to play it but any other markets in Washington State wouldn't get it. It works that way for all the other Cites & States. Kinda shitty if you ask me.

I haven't given in to watching a football game on my computer.

Btw, this whole NFL netowrk thing is really pissing me off. I just asked the Crime Warner lady about it when I paid my bill. She responded by saying..."merry Christmas"

That sucks. I guess it's time to call your local cable provider and demand NFL Network.

I've really tried to drum up some sort of feeling for Wisconsin, Green Bay, or Favre..... I tried for 10 minutes.... But I still don't give a fuck.

He may be far from his former glory but he is possibly one of the top 5 QBs of all-time.

The sound of ever fucking football analyst kissing Favre's ass when he hasn't done shit in 5 years should be enough for you. ..............

HOLY SHIT! How do you restrain yourself? That woman would have had to listen to an extensive rant if she said that shit to me. Then I would have talked to a supervisor, and bitched him/her out .

GOOD! I hate Green Bay, Favre and their fans

I also am VERY hesitant to download anyything but this thing seems ok.

It is a seperate program and opens up with the regular broadcast.

Its worth it and does not harm your computer.

There will be plenty of bars in Madison happy that the game is not on network TV. They will get lots of business out of it. If I was in Madison tonight, my ass would be parked in front of one of the big screens at State Street Brats. A couple of white brats and a cold beer.

By the way, the Packers are the second best football team in Wisconsin this year. Go Badgers.
