hi i've been unable to listen to sirius since i reformatted last week. i've updated everything I can think of. even called cust service and they told me to update windows media so i did, and now am using ver.11. audio on my pc works great. all shockwave flash, java, ie, soundcard/video drivers are updated and running well.
when i click on a channel in the internet player for sirius, it loads up, i see it connecting, and then it goes to a "Ready" response and that's where i'm left.
figured i'd post here before waiting on hold to talk to a poor sirius rep whos working on xmas for 30min.
I worked 8hrs today aswell and am fuckin beat and just want to hear some sirius. thanks. lighting up a splif for anyone who reads this. |

ok so i called cust service today. got a pretty mellow burnout guy as a rep. ahh i figured out what the problem was. it seems his "senior" told him that everyone there at the sirius offices has to turn off their internet streaming at work because of the holidays, and all the "tons of new ppl buying sirius" , their servers can't handle the traffic anymore. He then told me to wait 24 to 48 hours and try again, and if that doesn't work, call back.
that is an awesome way to handle customers, i'm very satisfied.
i'm my stunned state at that moment i said thanks, i'll try that, happy holidays. he said no prob, i'm glad sirius could solve all your problems, plz call back if you have any other questions. |

| ya, well i called again tonight, all i can say is that i really have to start recording these conversations. you can't write shit as funny as this guy was saying to me. i give up. goin back to just listening to the torrents later in the day when they are up. |

| What is the situation with the supported browsers for online listening? Does one work better than the other- IE and mozilla? I tried a 3 day trial and a popup blocker may be an issue- what is new- and a plug-in issue may exist for mozilla. This off subject from siruis customer service; However, I want to understand how it all works. |
