Last time I voted I was a little annoyed by the blue hairs running the show. They loudly ask your address, then they shout out what your political party is . Fuck them. Whos businiess is it anyway.

I figure Id register as a communists just to freak out the old people. Can you do that or do you just appear as "other".

I've never head anybody mention anybody's party at the polls. Is that even allowed?

I think you can, but people start paying a lot more attention to you than you're probably going to be comfortable with and your neighbors start being asked lots of questions about your lifestyle, from strangers.

Your right even as a joke, a bunch of people would not take it that way or not know it was a joke.

Yes, but whether or not a particular party is certified is a matter for the states. Each has its own laws as to who/what constitutes an official party.

The answer to your question would be yes, depending on where you live.

I have nothing against pure communism, but it is self defeating in America due to the fact that communism can only function in a single party system. National single party rule by communism is the only way such a party can sustain itself, look at every single country that has ever been under communist rule. That in itself is a self-fulfilling prophecy ;)

I'm not hating on you as I see where you are coming from, but the communist party is not a good choice for someone to support under the American political system.

I'm sure you could since this is America where you have the right to your own opinion.

The only time they ask which party is during the Primary season. Then they must ask so to get you the right ballot. If there are issues, such as a tax levy, then an independant can vote otherwise you would only vote for your party's canidates.
