Can I set a recording from sleep mode? I want it to record howard at 6am-12pm from my car, so when I get in the van to go to work I can start it from the begining. I don't want to run the stilletto all night and drain my batter.
Ps What is that web site to find the best station to use with a satilite radio????
Thanks! |

Yes, if you put it in sleep mode and have a scheduled recording, it will wake up and record. I believe that sleep mode still uses power though. So it may need some (car) battery.
Does your car have a tape deck? That is an easy fix.
The Sirius Backstage forum is quite informative. Here is a link to the Stiletto sub-forum.

The solution to your first problem, i.e. the static issue, is easy and costs only $30, just install this FM relay http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...d=1158319078975
It's easy to install.
You will have perfect static-free reception. It will be the best $30 you've ever spent!! It connects to the FM-Out jack of the Stiletto and between the car antenna and the car's stereo headunit. It creates a direct connection between your Sirius receiver and your car's stereo, eliminating the use of the built-in FM transmitter. You should never use the built-in FM transmitter if you want static-free reception. Good luck. |

They have the same one on Sirius.com for $20 and The Sirius Store for $18. |
