Robin's big nip
This thing rocks! I can take it anywhere..... I roam my whole house without being tied to the laptop to listen and recording function is the best. I know it isn't perfect but there isn't anything else like it!

can you give us an idea of battery life???

I haven't run out of juice yet but mine ends up getting charged in the car dock. The user guide lists the times for the standard battery as being 4 hours of satellite radio or 8 hours internet or 20 hours of stuff in the library. The slim battery is half of the previous figures. It comes stock with both batteries so if you have them both charged it's total 6 hours of satellite or 12 hours of internet listening.

I got a stiletto for Xmas, and so far, I have gotten at least 3.5 hours of satellite radio out of it.

I think this thing rocks! It is certainly the best one in the market!

BUBBA MARK! :D

I wish I could take a poll to find out what the consensus is when it regards the Stilletto 100. It seems to be on the fence from what I see. If I can just listen to Howard @ work. I will be golden. How do you go about charging the battery?

I hate you.

I bought a stiletto last month and I love it. Sirius did an excellent job with the stiletto. Two thumbs up!

I'm having a hard time picking up reception in my house. How are you walking around your house with it? Perhaps I am doing something wrong??

Hi, I would check this website here below for repeaters in your area. The repeaters
help you recieve signals for your Sirius radio.

i agree. I LOOOOVE my Stiletto! My work blocked streaming on the internet, so now I record the show from my home docking kit and listen the next day. It's the greatest thing ever!!! Thank you to my boyfriend, a fellow SFNer :)

That seems pretty sweet! I think I might have to do the same when I buy my stiletto 100. I love the fact that you can record shows and music. So sweet! :dancin:

I have a new Stiletto 100 and the only trouble I am having with it is the FM transmitter.
My Sportster Replay had a powerful transmitter that I could pick up on any radio in the house.
However the transmitter on my Stiletto while mounted in the home dock is so weak
that you literally need to touch the radio antenna to it for it to connect.
I can set the FM radio on my desk not 2 feet away from the Stiletto and it won't pick it up.
I actually hooked up a 4' long TERK FM powered antenna to my FM radio and it still didn't
pick up the transmitter!!!

I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem or if I have a bum unit?
Let me know.
Thanks!

I got one about a month ago, I love it, I just wish it was a bit smaller, but it ain't that bad. I was hoping for something the size of an iPod nano, hopefully sooner or later. I have to measure landscapes for my job so I'm outside a decent amount of the time and the stilletto makes the time outside fly by

I have a transmitter (75.00). I walk all over my house with a small radio strapped to my arm. I got it for the s50 and now use it with the stiletto.

I had the same problem when I got mine a year ago. Before I sent it back I went on SFN and asked like you. Someone responded to me with a link from Sirius Back Stage (I think) and showed me a drawing of the inside of the unit. There was thingy (don't you love chicks) that you set that amps up the capability to transmit. Did it and it works great. Dig around and see if you can find it. I was told the FCC makes manuf. set it low.
