I love Washington.
I think the Giants have pretty much folded the season by putting Strahan on IR and not even having Shockey make the trip. They can only hope that Barber runs for 200 yards. |

the giants are horrible without strahan and shockey has previously been very tough for wash to cover... if I weren't in the DC area, I'd probably be big on the skins, but our team is in shambles... season is being looked at as one of the biggest failures in franchise history and the recent interview with Archuleta has just brought tensions to a new high... starting cb, springs is out and rogers and wright are awful... starting olb, washington is out and o-line is banged up, even though their running game has been off the hook lately...
what would concern me the most is the chemistry of the team right now, which is darker than shit... lots of guys are expecting this to be their last year in washington, salary cap problems, free agent busts, mishandling of players and nothing to play for...
my nfl picks have been horrible this year so I'm far from making a confident one here, but as someone in the area, I'd suggest you tread lightly on this one, I wouldn't be surprised to see the skins lay down...
tiki and burress could make loose leaf paper of the skin's D...

| The Giants are playing for pride. I bet they play over their heads. They may not like Tom Coughlin, but they do have their pride and its been pretty beat up the last couple of weeks. |

| I think the Skins can beat the Giants. Hell, they beat the Saints so anything is possible. As for how much of a clusterfuck the Redskins franchise is this year, it's nothing new. Everytime the owner tries to BUY a championship, it always blows up in his face. |

The play calling at the end of the game was almost as bad as the tackling for them ALL night. HORRIBLE. To much needs to happen for the Packers to get the 6th seed so it's pretty much a given that the Giants grab the final Playoff spot with a PATHETIC 8-8 record.

As for the Giants, even when they barely win they still look like shit. They gave up nearly 400 yds. to the horrible Skins as their DB's are perhaps the worst I've ever seen from this franchise.
Manning is a backup at best and their window of opportunity to win anything of signifigance within the next 5-7 years has officially ended.
The only good thing about this season is that asshole Coughlin will be let go. |
