| shit yeah, Dana is going to rape PRIDE of all their talent. They are a sinking ship, its funny to see the PRIDE champs starting to talk nicer about the UFC now that they know where the money is. Chute Boxe is all up Dana's ass now too. |

Fedor is taking bookings on a fight to fight basis. He's scheduled to fight Jeff Monson for Bodogfight in March. |

i was reaaaaaaly annoyed with fukn Ferral tonite bcuz i was trying to get thru on the phone and he TOTALLY cockblocked me...on hold for hours with serious questions for every last guest he had on n he scraped every last goober on the phone n avoided me completely. fukn cokefiend.
AMONG the questions i had was "has UFC given any thought to leapfrogging the whole HBO/Showtime flirtation and leaping straight over to free major-network broadcasts ala the way Big Boxing USED to be?"

UFC is bigger then Boxing! 1.2 Million PPV buys is Tyson PPV type numbers!! Tyson vs Holyfield I believe is the biggest with over 2 million. But since Oscar De la Hoya, Holyfield & Tyson.... there isn't any huge boxing buys on PPV. :)

AGREE'D! I didn't care who won, but they stopped that fight early. SPLIT SECONDS before the ref stopped it, Tito was rolling to make a move. Not saying he would've won, but they let the Peruvian dude with the beard get PUMMELED and stopped a championship bout just like that? |

Tito was turtling half the fight. He made an effort after Liddell let up because he saw Yamasaki come in.
Tito has enough experience to know when you're in trouble. Try defending yourself instead of covering up. |

hey you see any of the pride event? some good matches... I thought overall a great event save for some of the expected spectacles... won't give any way spoilers in case you haven't but the kawajiri vs melendez match was brutally contested and some decent surprises and fights on the card as well...
went 6-2 overall for the ufc and pride..
I couldnt see the chuck vs tito match going down in any other fashion... even tito afterwards appeared to realize he doesn't have the skill set to beat chuck... and god is he beatable... effective stand up, but always BEGGING to get clocked... I think rampage will be tough, but I do give chuck credit for improving a lot since his lost to jackson...
