when i was on SFRT last thur I hadnt prepared really as id been away from SFN and one of the questions was Mutt asking what he should get Bubba n Heather for their wedding.

i thought fast n came up with a better color scheme for the Darkside (sorry!) and his-n-hers Kahr pistols, a P9 for Heather and a P45 for Bubba. we briefly veered off when Zolar accused me of ripping off his idea  but i pressed on. anyway, i just went ot their website kahr.com n noticed they have a new pm series whihc is even smaller, only thing is the 45 version says 'shipping in 2007' whihc doesnt sound good.

whatever, whether its the legendary P series or the newer smaller PM series, what does the Darkside think of my suggestion of lightweight, reliable, small, stylish and verrrry fine shooting his n her pistols in 9mm and .45 sizes? or perhaps .40 and .45 since the .40 would give Heather some definite stopping power advanatge without hurting her hands like a .45.

reaction?

That would be sweet as hell but Tony if you post it here the suprise is gone and the cat is out of the bag, so to speak because they come around these parts from time to time. Maybe a gift card to a local gun shop in the Tampa area or an online store that offers something a little more exclusive via gift card. Good pick though, very nice!

Dumb idea. He already has a large gun collection.

I think it is a great idea and would be good for if they go to an event in FL that they both carry them together. Very good idea Tony, if i had the money i would buy it for them in a heartbeat! :D

I never thought giving a female any kind of firearm was a good idea. Trust me I know what I am talking about. Give the gift that never misses....CASH.

I like it, that is a unique idea, well maybe in New York - but....

He's got lots of redneck friends, he's probably gonna get too many guns at his wedding as a gift. You wouldn't want it to be like a toaster, where newly wed couples get more than they know what to do with and then end up giving them to friends who are going to get married.

Previously I had mentioned really nice silver engraved his and her speculum's - I left that idea for Mutt if he wants to use that. Sadly, I won't be getting my first "real paycheck in a long time", in time to buy a physical gift.

Moon land can be bought on the internet however, so I might have to rely on that.

The taxidermy wild boar head mount to start a "game room" for Bubba, will likely make a better 1st anniversary gift, so my "tact advisor" tells me anyways.

And it is real acre's of land, they'd actually own it.

Who knows... it might actually be usefull in the future or atleast worth something.

I mentioned it in this thread, which had some good ideas posted actually.
