I like Spiceboy, but someone's gotta smack that kid in the head. He needs to grow a set of balls and tell Melody once and for all to hit the bricks......And mean it this time. They have a very unhealthy relationship that will only end up hurting both of them.

I've been there ( many moons ago) and I know quite a few guys that have been there. He just happens to be living it in front of a ton of people. |

| I had a friend that went through numerous ups and downs and various lengths of break-ups for like 7 years after high school. He continuously took her back. We all tried to set him straight. He kept telling us "he loved her." Well they got married and it was good for a year or two. They had a kid.....Then things went south again. It ended up, she had been seeing a guy for years on the side. He still fought to keep her,,,, I coulda killed him. I wasn't even sure the kid was his, but a paternity test proved it was his. When all was said and done, he had to live with me for almost a year. She got the house, the kid, and support payments. I thought he was gonna kill himself. To this day he still says a part of him loves her.... |

Unless you've lived it you'll never understand.
I was with a girl for years like that. We were like gasoline and matches together, very volitale. You hear and see all that's going on but it doesn't matter. I probably still love her and we haven't seen each other in years. That girl was like cocaine to me, I was hooked but she was killing me.
If you've never been though shit like Spice is going through, either consider yourself lucky or sorry to hear that, because there's no better feeling when you're high from the other person.

I was there, too. A lot of it comes from insecurity and fear. When you're with someone for so long, there's a fear that keeps you with the familiar rather than going for the new. There's a part of you that says no one will ever love you as much, etc.
Spice needs to get his sorry ass into counseling ASAP and get over this. I hate seeing other people wasting parts of their life sticking with a bogus relationship that is DESTINED TO FAIL - especially Spice, who get more hot tang than I ever could imagine getting. |

Otherwise, you have to man up and cut bait. If you are in a realtionship that is that bad I would have to say that there are some " insecurity issues" going on if you can't let it go.

| Love is merely a word that keeps some people from killing themselves. As for me I had a very similar thing that Spice is going through now. It took me years to finally get her out of my life for good. Since then I never believe anything a chick says about love. I keep myself emotional detached from such ideas. |
