This is a thread for Bubba related show topics for 01/04/07. If you have a problem with me or anyone else in this thread take it outside.

Just wanted to stop by & say Hello. I started a new job at a pharmaceutical company.
Currently can't listen to the show at work, so I don't think I will be able to log onto SFN.
Just wanted to say it's been great chatting with everyone around here. I will check in, mostly in the evenings. I have to check back often, you people keep me from being too serious in life. Oh yeah this is an ambien post. LOL

I'm hoping that you're not sampling your company's product (ambien). It sucks that you won't be able to listen to the show while you're at work, and your presence will be missed (at least by me). |

Wish I could get a discount on company product? Ambien is fuckin expensive with no insurance.
I am keeping my hopes up that when I am no longer in training, that I can take my S50 to work and listen.
I could listen a little at work and a little on the way home.
I so had it made on my last job, my commute just kept getting longer started out at 2 hours a day and turned into 3 to 3 1/2hours a day, these are only time on good days. Doesn't include travel time during snow.
I didn't get paid enough for that much travel time.
My biggest challenge is trying to hide my tongue piercing. They actually have a written policy that states no tongue piercing.
You can't see it unless I am trying to show it off and my speech is almost back to normal.

Whatever happened to EOE??? It'd be one thing if the piercing is just a small one (something non-obtrusive that doesn't garner any attention), but it'd be another to have a piercing that uses something like you'd use to work on your MX bike. I had a guy that worked for me that had something like a #12 bolt piercing in his tongue (that thing was bigger than his teeth). It didn't affect his job performance, so I could've cared less what he had as long as he showed up for work and did his job.
That travel time in the snow definitely is a killer (something about living in Colorado just does that). Were you traveling from Denver to Colorado Springs or something like that?? |

Thanks. I will be dealing with customer service over the phone. As long as their are no major issues with people understanding me and I do a good job, hopefully it will be all good.
I was traveling North of Denver to South of Denver, it was 100 miles roundtrip each day.
I miss my old job and my friends, but I was so sick of the commute. I did it for 2 1/2 years.
Where we live is worth changing jobs for. We live in the mountains. I love it until we get 3-4 feet of snow. LOL |

Loveland to Aurora?! Or perhaps Thornton to Aurora (okay, Thornton is almost Denver)? I've done the I-25 thing (FTE), and that commute is a pain in the butt at the wrong time of the day. |

Well yesterday I bolted outta my office and got some gas,, and finally was able to tune in right in the middle of the convo with Shon... after the laughter and shock wore off I called her up and told her Shon is spilling all, her 3 month old radio just shit the bed so she was just trying to get it up on the internet. She was laughing her ass off and telling me she was beat red, lol saying Courtney outted us letting loose too many hints and I told her it was too late everyone knows who it is.
