I believe the "more like friends" issue was Jughead and his fiance. Not Spice and Mel.

If he stays with her, he's the fool. Real love doesn't go this way and just like Artie and Dana, Mel isn't going to change her ways until she is ready. Spice and Mel will always have this problem between them. Move on Spice! |

No, that was Jughead that got dumped after spending money on Christmas presents for his significant other. Oh, wait, that was BOTH of them!
The key here is to not spend too much on presents on a chick unless she's your fiancee or wife. Too many times I've seen friends dump cash on a bitch only to break up with them eventually. And to think that Spice spent over a grand on his ex while spending 30 bucks on his mom. |

Good point, I guess what I was trying to say is not to buy your significant other a Christmas present unless she was your wife for at least 10 years. After that, you have to hulk up and spend at least $100 on Christmas.
As for Jughead's fiancee, he has GOT to give Bubba her number not only to get back some of the money he spent on her, but to publically own her. That shit is ridiculous. |
