Holy Shit! 99% of the threads in this forum are about how much HTV sucks, and how people are going to cancel, and how howard should give them their money back.... I know there are always going to be a few people who will never be happy, but it seems like there's really a lot of you out there!
Are there any people out there who just get high and watch the shows and think most all of them are pretty funny, and that HTV is pretty damn cool when you think about it, and who then just want to come here and see what other people who also got high and watched the same show thought of said show? :joint:
Just wondering if you're out there? :hw: |

Yes we're out there.... Generally I think those who have complaints feel far more compelled to voice their negative opinions than those who are content care to voice their positive ones -- just human nature I guess.
Aside from the difficulty I've had with my local cable company's periodic technical glitches (in which case I ask for a HTV-credit on the bill for that month) I've been fully satisfied with all the crazy shit I get for just a few more bucks a month. :hw:
And PS - I blaze it up for HTV every time. :roach: |

I've never watched a HTV show without being stoned, not once. I like most of the shows, I only get upset when they're really late posting them (which hasn't happened for me lately-knock on wood). I usually hear most the shows on Sirius, so I figure if I get high I'll forget some of what happened & it makes it that much more entertaining! Long live HTV & Cannabis!!!
Cheers! :joint: |

I still like it and have no intention of cancelling but it's not exactly perfect. Compared to the old E! shows HTV is much better. But I still think there's plenty of room for improvement.
I still don't understand why certain shows take so long before they put them on. Tracy Morgan, Paul Mooney for example. The way they rush on shows with gay antics of Sal and Richard over a naked woman makes me scratch my head. Why they don't put up more of the old classic or sexy stuff uncensored from the old E! shows is beyond me and the stuff they do decide to put up makes me ask myself "Why put up that show of all shows?". When Doug comes in to talk about all the great stuff they have comming up I wonder why it takes months to finally see it..if ever. Where's the show of going to Riely's house? Where's all the "specials" that they hired the festival winners to do?
So yeah, I guess I'm keeping the service but I think there's plenty of room for improvement. Plenty! |

| I still like it, I'll usually pop a few beers while watching (quit weed years ago). The only thing that has me on the fence about it is that it's $15 a month here. I'm not sure if it's worth more than the other premium channels. About once or twice a month I consider canceling, but so far have kept it. |

| i still dig it as well. i usually catch up on it late at night. my biggest complaint about it has nothing to do with the channel at all, it's all about the shitty cablevision boxes/service. it freezes up, i get error messages, the fast forward and rewind usually never work and sometimes i can't even access htv. |

well good... I was beginning to think I was the only one. :joint:
Yes, HTV can use some improvement, but I just wanted to give it some credit... I have a new appreciation I guess- I was on vacation and didn't watch htv or come on sfn for a week. So, when I came back, I had a bunch of episodes to watch, and I had forgotten all about the things I was bitching about, and I realized it was actually pretty cool, even if Doug refuses to listen to the fans! :)
I noticed there was some show up about the first sirius episode, called "press conference"... I got an error code when I tried to watch, and today it's not even there.... anyone else have this? |

| Many complaints, but would never cancel way too good of material, and so far in '07 here they've been great about updating the content my biggest complaint of all, can't wait to see more, more....more H-TV!!! :jj: |

I can't imagine not being able to see the hot chicks that come on the show but the slow updates and missing segments pisses me off.
I read a thread that said we should cancel and re-sub every other month and we wouldn't miss anything.
It’s like dating a hot chick that you hate. You can’t stand her but can’t stand giving her up. |

| I still have plenty of complaints, but I can usually find about a handful of shows during the month to justify the expense. Way to much garbage is put on, and still too many repeats for the person who has had the service from day one. I don't even bother watching some of the shows because I have already listened to the segment on Sirius. I am not trying to get into an argument with others. I am just stating my personal opinion. |

I agree with you. To each his own but I rarely ever watch any of the shows of just the gang talking about something. I already heard it on the radio and if there's nothing or nobody I haven't seen before I don't bother. I've heard it already and it's visually interesting to me. The shows I watch are when they have guests I want to see or someone's doing something wacky. |

| Only reason why I'm not cancelling is that I split the cost with 3 other people, so even with the infrequent updates, missing shows and poor selection of material, it's still worth the $3.50 I spend. |
