Only way it would be legal was if Bubba licensed them out himself (all his material is copyright-protected). Then again, why would we want to pay for them when he has a bunch of them on his website for FREE?! |

Okay, now this is becoming SPAM. Those are PROPRIETARY, therefore a direct copyright violation (you cannot take copywritten material, edit it, and try to turn a profit from it without express written consent from the copyright holder). That's different from me taking a snippet from a song that I've paid for and made a ringtone out of it for myself because I have not redistributed it in any way whatsoever (for-profit or otherwise). Please stop this. I know you're a fan, but enough is enough. |

No inconvenience to me one bit. I know you're a fan and a solid contributor here, so I tried to keep a respectful tone the first time I replied (it was the jackass comment that set me off, btw). D-Rob and I read the same thing and had two different interpretations of what you were trying to accomplish (trust me, you get another eighteen people to read it and you may get eighteen other opinions -- just saying). Thank you kindly for the clarification, and I'm glad that we're all on the same page now (that we're all concerned about the intellectual property being sold). |
