Sportster 2 Replay c.2005. Still works like a mo-fo. I'd get a Stiletto 2 or something nice like that, but if you read SIRI 2007 10K statement filed with the S.E.C., I'm not too sure Sirius is going to be around in a year.

I have the old sportster replay and my backlight went out too. It was a real easy fix, if you want I will post pics of the repair so you can see.

i just picked up a sportster 3 at wal-mart for 44 bucks... the hook up was somewhat of a pain, but actually turned out looking pretty clean, so it worked out. picked up the quarterly plan as well... joining the revolution has never felt so good.

Alright, Ive been searchin everywhere....Soo Ive heard that it is indeed possible to get the Stiletto to work with both the Stiletto 100 boombox and also to work with the vehicle kit? Ive only found one reference to this after searching Google and it's very vague. Something like strippin the metal groove off that slide the 100 in place// Anyone got any ideas on the success rate of this and whether to even bother doing rather then selling my now meaningless Boombox and vehicle kit for the 100 on EbaY!!??? ANy help would be appreciated!!!

Check here in SIRIUS BACKSTAGE and they'll show you how to convert your old Docks to work with the S2... http://www.siriusbackstage.com/foru...isplay.php?f=48

Thank god for you man, Ill check that shit out now!!

I replaced a couple of dead Starmate Replays with the Stratus. Though the transmitter in the Stratus is much weaker, it works better with some antenna tweaks I did. My old Starmates got so hot, you could scramble an egg on them, which lead to premature screen failure ...along with my wife dropping one :D

I really think based upon everyones review of Sirius radios that cheaper is the best way to go, as none of them seem to work like they should and quality control is questionable. I spend more time listening online using Starplayr than anything.
jackandcoke68
My Starmate gets smokin' hot too,but no problems with the screen yet.

Have a Xact Visor, two Sirius One's and a dedicated tuner hooked to my Pioneer car unit.

I have the Sirius One.

It's a 'Work Horse' compared to some of the HORROR stories I've heard about ANY and ALL of the other models.

I did a 'N***** Rig' job & bought a S1 on amazon.com

Then I set myself up w/ BOTH a car version & a home version.

Biggest Complaint?

I CANNOT READ THE SCREEN UNLESS IT'S PITCH BLACK !

BOGUS.

I have a Sirius Sportster 4. The thing that annoys me is when it gets cold, the arm that holds the plug and play on my car kit will drop down and not stay up. Almost like it is too heavy but its not. Just wondering if anybody else has that problem.
