When will the On Demand shows be shown in HD? I know that they are shot in HD and that INHD does have the edited (for content) Stern Show sampler.
On Demand..... When is it going ot happen?

There is currently an "HD Clips" section of Howard TV On Demand which holds all the current HD content for the public. The reason they offer a small portion of HD content (clips not full shows) is because of the bandwidth and video file size. Maybe a quota is set by On Demand so they have to keep most shows in standard quality or else they would only have enough space for about 4-5 full shows instead of the 40-50 hours they currently offer in standard quality.
The other issue is that not everyone has HD. I have HD and wish they would make every full episode in HD, but I'm sure they don't want to reupload the same show twice. One for standard TV and another for HDTV users.
Lets all hope that they sell the HD content in box sets of either Blu-Ray DVD or HD DVD in full 1080p. |
