What are you guys using for a case for the Stiletto 100? I saw one at Best Buy that was neoprene but it was $30 and I am not sure if that is the best route. Directed Electronics makes the case.

I bought that one. Seems OK so far. Might be able to find it on Ebay Cheaper. Only reason i bought it in Best Buy was because i had a Gift Card from 2 years ago that had $15 in it.

Is it easy to get in and out? I use the Stiletto in my car dock or home dock most of the time.

it real good, although if you have it in there with the thick batt then you change to the smaller batt, it's a bit streched out.

This is the one I use:

It gives good protection, is easy to take the Stiletto in and out and reception is as good as without the case.

As an added protection to preserve the screen from minor scratches, I use the plastic overlay as well.

I could take some pictures of it if you want, just let me know. :)

Thanks alot. That case looks similar to the one at BestBuy, only leather. Does it work well with both batteries?

I am very interested in the screen protectors. I have always used on on my iPAQ but they are a bitch to get on cleanly. How is the installation on this one?

Yeap, the case is good with both batteries.

The screen protector was a little challenging to put on. You just hold it by the sides to avoid finger printing the inside of it, and it took me a couple of tries to place it right. Nothing too difficult though. :)

Thanks Fa-Fa looks good.

I'm using the Speck Tough Skin case.
The Big Gunk
I bought this one since it came with a screen cover and everything. Works like a charm so far. And it has a little piece of filler to use if you are using the slim battery.

I have purchased Speck Stiletto Tough Skin case for my SL100. I think spending $24 to protect $600 (hardware+subscription) investment is money well spent. Several observations:

1. Basically it is a rubber piece with a flap on the bottom to slide the unit in. It has a separate plastic window that fits over Stiletto display to protect the crystal. Unfortunately, this window is not attached to the case itself, making it very hard to keep it in the right place while you slide the unit in. I solved the problem by putting 4 drops of super glue on each corner of the plastic window protector and then attaching it the case permanently. Seems to work so far.

2. The flap would not peel far enough to allow unit to be docked with car kit. Initially I felt it was a BIG BUMMER, since I primarily ordered the case for protection inside the car. Upon further thought, I borrowed my dad's scalpel and made two1/3 inch incisions in the case to extend flap peeling range. Now it works like charm.

I can say I do recommend it. It feels solid enough to protect the unit from an average fall of say 3-4 feet for sure. And it has a detachable belt clip for wearing it.

should of gotten the tough skin instead of the leather one.

Please be aware that the speck case does not dock unless you take a razor blade to it.

This is some good info.
