must be some kind of technical fuck up but sometimes i notice that different cable boxes thoughout the house have different shows and categories up
and on 1/9, the last day there was stuff in the "our little friends" category, i went to record some shows and after watching the first show, the rest were gone but when i went over to a different box, they were all there again until i watched one then they were gone on that box, then i tried a 3rd box, same thing
kinda weird but i got to record all the shows without losing them |

i just noticed something
like i said above, some of the boxes in my house get updated at different times and days but i noticed that when i reboot the box, it gets updated right away with the new shows
some of you who see something in this forum but don't have it yet might want to try that. it can't hurt and rebooting is good for the box anyway
here is the best way to reboot your box, a friend of mine who works at comcast told me this
put the box on channel 2 and turn the box off
then, unplug the AC cord on the box for about 5 minutes
then plug the box back in but don't turn it on for about 5 minutes
