Artie and Brent left the wedding to watch the last quarter of the football game. I thought it was a typical adolescent, childish "leaving the prom to sneak a few beers" routine. Artie said it was his idea and that Brent was being a kind host simply accomodating Artie as a guest.
Nice way to spin it. Two great minds worked togteher to spin that yarn. Artie takes the heat but he is in New York ansHoward will let this go. Brent is in the studio but he ends up bullet proof. Bubba is not upset about it but I wonder if he will call out Brent and Artie on this concocted bullshit. |

They both said they 'left a free bar to go to a pay bar'. I don't think it had anything to do with sneaking a drink. |

I meant it was like adolescent kids running around. They both wanted to watch football and they came up with this excuse to justify their leaving the wedding. |

As a huge Eagles fan, that lives out west, if there is anyway to catch my boys on the TeeVee then I'm doing it. All my friends understand that and if I have to cut out for a few minutes to get the score, no bubbles, no troubles baby...
Brent, minor foul if anything considering the Packer's weren't playing............... |

I was thinking that yesterday as soon as Brent had his revelation. I didn't want to bring that up because I was sure I was wrong. |

I can't fault them. I did that before. I left a winter wedding to go watch football and a summer wedding to go watch baseball. We checked back in but there are so many people there no one should give a shit. |

Actually it wasn't the Steelers. If the Steelers were playing, then I wouldn't even go to the wedding. I hate weddings. They are boring. |

Brent was a best man though. I was a best man at a wedding and, this being canada, some guyy gathered around the cameraman's tiny tv on his cmaera to catch the end of an important hockey game, no problem. To leave though is improper, unless the person is 11 years old. |

Anyone that says that it is not alright to leave a wedding for a half an hour to catch the end of a playoff game is obviously not a football fan. Bubba is being a huge bitch, and if this was the American Idol finally or some gay shit like that Howard would have left to watch that.
Also if you are going to have a reception and you know there is a playoff game, why isn't there a tv in the coat room, or in some other area not part of the banquet hall so that people can check the score and watch the game if they want |

| Of course! I used to gamble, played every football game of the week, and would do crazy things to get to a television for an update. |

| My sister in law is getting married on a Nebraska game day next year and I guess they will have big screens at the reception for the people to watch the game. It might be in another room and not in the main hall. But if they don't have the game on there I am leaving and if it is going on during the church part of the wedding I am sneaking a mini earpiece in so I can listen to the fucking game. I already have took head phones to someone elses wedding to listen to the Huskers during the reception and that was a ppv broadcast against Baylor. I was trying to get my wife to go to the bar after halftime during that one too. Don't have a wedding during a big game or any Nebraska (in Nebraska, I don't know how your state is) game day for that matter if you don't expect everyone to pay more attention to the game than you. That is why my wedding was scheduled on the Nebraska bye week before the Colorado post Thanksgiving game. |

| Artie said he hasn't done coke since '97 and that he turned down brents offer. It is impossible for him to gorge like that on food and yet turn down another one of his beloved snacks...booger sugar! :D |
