Pills vs. Pot and Coke
daven30
Personally I think pills are more addicting. I asked Chip and he agrees :p
huddy25
as a pharmacy student I can tell you that pills are much more addicting than pot will ever be
KC CULTIVATION
Bubba.....
Bud is a non issue and coke on occasion is no big deal
daven30
I aree about the coke. I have an addictive personality and I tried coke. It was fun but I don't see how you can do it every day
daven30
I did an 8 ball in one night and it left me looking and feeling haggard
asskickinEMT
As a former pot smoker from the '70's, I can tell you pills are way more addictive.I smoked from 1971 till 1982 and stopped. No problem.I got a foot crushed and the doctors put me on pain pills and I had a hell of time getting off of them. :kickass:
DIMEBAG_RIP
Bubba by a long shot. Pills are far more dangerous and addictive.

If you could overdose on pot i wouldnt be here today

If Bubba is telling the truth about all those pills he has a major problem. I hope he embelishes a little for the air because I worry about his health.

If anything he's probably downplaying it for the air.

Bubba-you gotta at least cut down. You got us all hooked on you now-so we need you to stay healthy.

Pills are deadly when mixed with the wrong pill or alcohol. Pot is safe as long as you aren't driving and getting hooked on tobacco as well, although pot can get you with a bad crowd if they use other illicit drugs.

my good friend marc started taking vikes because we're heavy lifters. then he kept taking them in the off season. his one pill a day turned into 10 within a year. that turned into oc's and that turned into herion. he lost his job, kid, house, car. basicly his life. hes 34 living at home with mom and dad, has a criminal record and no friends. i wish i wouldve pressured him sooner to quit. when he would shake his rattler and say "i pop 'um like gum drops",, "you know 4 or 5 just to start the day" i laughed then. now i cry and pray for him.

I love me some vikes too, but after 5 hernia repairs-I get hooked in a couple of days.So now I can take only in moderation.

you got that shit right brutha...take it from a guy who's been there, done that! I'm surprised my liver ain't gone from 6 yrs of 20 lortab 7.5/500 PER DAY! sometimes more, sometimes less but not much on the "less" side!
I had NO prob doing 150 per week and you would never have been able to tell. I could even throw some good Ole tequila in the mix on the weekends, and smoking weed like it was coming out my ears.
When I quit the pills.......holy shit! talk about withdraws! flu like symptoms, GI runs, jonesin, cold sweats, nausea, sleeplessness! felt like I wanted to die. I couldnt even imagine what is like coming of of a drug like heroine or meth if painkillers are that bad! and it was also for a legit reason! I was buying them black market style
the wife and I could smoke 1.5 oz a week...when we quit smokin...not a problem in the world. maybe smoked a few more cigs...but not a symptom of any kind!

Offering coke to Artie was a scumbag move. You don't ever offer booze to a recovering alcoholic or drugs to a former addict. Brent's drug use has increased to the point where it's affecting his judgment and that's not cool.

If he got Artie back on coke he would've seriously fucked up Howard's show and would have jeopardized his job. BAD MOVE.
Hrolfr
I think that Rx pills are worse due to the fact they are legal and the feeling of the Dr gave me a script for them so they must be ok mindset.

Offering alcahol to a recovering addict is even a dick thing to do....

Once an adict always an adict .. you only change the drug of choice... be it legal and safe )ie shopping, gum) or harmful ( pills, coke, X, etx...) there is no oh I will just do it this once ... one time and you start the recovery all over again

I agree with the pills. My doctor went a little crazy a couple months ago with prescribing the pills and they are like popping candy.
dirkdiggler
Bubba without question.
Kengro
Bubba can't quit even if he tried
A drug is a drug, legal or not
oug13
pills.......so Bubba
nomofcc
i've been smoking weed everyday for 19 or so years, and I'm not addicted, so I'd say the pills
Tankass
Bubba head and shoulders, he denies it and can't stop
amrco
I'm gonna have to pick Bubba.
misshosternfan
Brent with Coke, is a hard drug!
Scales
I haven't said anything... but I wondered if Brent was doing coke before the wedding, when they bugged him about his speach. I don't mean just on weekends either.

He is nasally, sounds a bit plugged up. His slurring could have been from being exhausted from many nights of not sleeping.

I sure hope this isn't the case - but If Brent's plugged up voice is coming from a cold or something - that should have passed.

 Hey I resemble that remark.

Pills are definatley harder for your body to quit.

If Brent is only doing coke on weekends, then Bubba definitely has a worse problem.

If Brent is doing it every day, then Bubba still might have a worse problem, as far as getting off of it.

George Carlin and Robin Williams, have said this about coke (not sure who said which one)
"The only thing cocaine ever made me want to do.... was more cocaine"
"Cocaine is god's way of telling you that you make too much money"

It is a bad habit that can get way too expensive, I am glad I live where I can't buy it easily.

I have one of the least "addictive" personalities of anyone I know - but when I have the powder on hand, I just don't leave it alone or put it down, and can go through lots if it is available to me.

I recently went over a month without touching it, but the last time it was offered to me... my body went "Really?!?!?! - cool!!!"

I"m glad Artie is able to turn it down, and knows how much he could do if he started again. My guess is it is partially because it's been nearly 10 years since he has done it.

I really don't know what's funnier, the irony of nomofcc's statement or the fact I agree with him...Everyday for 19 years...you say addiction, I say habit...

If Brent is only occasionally powdering his nose, Bubba is definitely in more trouble. As long as you are not driving a school bus or flying a plane, nothing is wrong with the wacky weed...ahem...I mean as long as it is for medicinal purposes...right, right...for migraines...
coreyconway
Brent for sure.
acdc0930
Bubba needs to stop taking the pills. They are controlling his life.
firechicken
pills i think.weed is only made out to be worse because it's illegal.
firechicken
i would like to know if heather is concerned about bubba and his pills?
