Bubba said in his blog on January 16,2007 that he is going to have suregery at 8 am on Wednesday morning.

HEY EVERYONE, FIRST OF ALL I WANTED TO THANK ALL THE GUYS ON THE SHOW FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS, I THINK BOTH OF THE SHOWS HAVE BEEN GREAT…….KINDA OF CONCERNED HOGAN IS MAD AT ME, HE WONT RETURN MY CALLS….THANKS NED, KIND OF GOT A CURVE BALL THROWN TO ME LAST NIGHT, AFTER THE WEDDING MY LEFT LEG HAS BEEN KILLING ME, TO THE POINT WHERE I CANT HARDLY WALK, SO BRENT MADE ME GO TO MY DOCTORS HOUSE TONIGHT AFTER THE SHOW…….HE DIDNT LIKE WHAT HE SAW ONE BIT…..I AM GOING IN FOR A MINOR OPERATION AT 8AM TOMMORROW MORNING, HE IS GOING TO SLICE IT OPEN, DRAIN IT, AND INSTALL ANOTHER DRAIN, YEAH…………..I SHOULD ONLY BE UNDER FOR LESS THAN 2 HOURS…AND IF EVERYTHING GOES WELL SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THE SHOW…….I MIGHT BE GROGGY, BUT SHOULD BE OK….AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN FOR NOW………ANYTHING TO TAKE THIS PRESSURE/PAIN AWAY…….
I WILL HOPE TO SEE YOU TOMMMORROW AT 3PM

Yeah-rest up.I heard Ferrall do at least 1 show on the ISDN and you couldn't tell a difference,but I don't think he's as much a control freak as Bubba. |

| I read that too on BTLS, now with the wedding over and done with maybe Bubba's stress level can come down. Bubba gives us so much and gives and gives to everyone with the show and all and we love him to death for it, but please Bubba don't kill yourself take it easy |

Bubba is the Sirius workhorse...the guy has a major surgery, doesnt miss a day...gets married, back the next work day with no honeymoon and now is having a surgery for complications and still plans on possibly coming in.....
Bubba Clem is the fucking MAN

| Bubba should just take the day off. He hasn't had a minute to himself for weeks. Let it heal, and come back tomorrow. He's done enough shows where he deserves it. No big deal. |

You really need to rest and take care of yourself. As much as I would love to hear you every day, you should take the day off. We all would understand. We want you to stay around for the long haul.
