yes, howard was right, they should have kept Gary thinking he was not retarded and called him back over the course of a week.

i just checked it out and there are only 3 vipers up for auction... none have my parts on them. I know I was raving the other day about getting three viper hood sales in one week, which is pretty big money, but as it turns out, I only got two of them. The 3rd is actually going to the show "Unique Whips" on the Speed channel for a show in the 4th season where they'll be customizing a 96 Viper GTS. They let me know that they "don't pay for parts"...lol, so it's not really a sale, but it'll be some good exposure. They want to film me and all that shit... not real crazy about all that, but we'll see how it goes I guess. I'm not sure who the celebrity is that owns the Viper, so I'm curious to find out about that. The only other celbrity I ever built anything for was Jesse James on his viper right before he sold it :rolleyes: |

I have seen the show Unique whips. they are a verry talentd crew when it comes to interior work. They are the ones that did the work for Tony Stewarts hurse. Just change when you become a big celeberty. Do it just let us know when it is on so we can see it. |

They are good at installing all the bolt ons and contracting out any real custom work (Except sub boxes and anything they can paint with a spray bomb. But I still watch it weekly to bad there is so many reruns. |

I just tivo'd it this weekend after they contacted me and haven't seen too much yet. I caught one episode and wasn't blown away by their skills just yet. Seems like they're trying to showcase the owner's personality more than anything which seems to be the theme of reality carshows these days... I dunno, maybe my lack of ebonics skills could prevent me from falling in love with the show...lol. Give me "Rides" on TLC anyday over these drama-garage shows ;) |

Television is a powerful medium, you have to get as much camera time as possible. That could do wonders for biz!! Shheeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiit as much as they replay those shows, you could'nt ask for a better commercial.

They better give you comparable air time and credit your work and info in the credits, plus I think they started putting DVD outs, so getting in appropriate credit would be key.
I got bored watching and Speed has moved it 2-3 times during the week, lost interest
The Will Castro dude tries to be like Paul Teutel, always yelling about deadlines, pissing his main installer off, but he never does the work, I guess some dude from the Jets lived next to him and his business took off from there |

yeah... and I HATE Amercian Choppers with a passion. Especially after you see their work in person which is pretty shotty. That's when you realize that the show is ONLY about the fake drama bullshit... yuck! But.... I guess if I can better myself and my business, it would be dumb for me to not take the opportunity. I just wish I had some Jesse James back on TV... that's the one TV-builder that I truly respect. |
